Welcome to Cape Cod! Our charming and family friendly 4-bedroom cottage is the ideal summer retreat for families or small groups. The house sleeps 8 comfortably and offers plenty of indoor and outdoor space for relaxing, entertaining, and cooking. The first floor includes a living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace, kitchen, family room, master bedroom, master bathroom, bunk-bed room (2 bunk beds), and a convenient laundry room. The second floor includes two bedrooms and a half-bath. Outside areas include a private back yard with a large brick patio and yard, great for BBQs and napping in the hammock. There is parking for 4 cars.
The house is located within a 5-minute walk to a private neighborhood beach, which you will have full access to use. The neighborhood is quiet and wooded, with stately oaks and maples, providing lovely shade from the summer sun. The house is a 10-minute walk to the village of Woods Hole, which offers two public beaches, a lighthouse, and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Woods Hole also has restaurants and shops, an aquarium, and two major marine biology and ocean science research institutions. A charming summer vacation spot!

Why they chose this property
This is a family summer retreat cottage, originally purchased in 1967 when our father was doing research at the Marine Biological Laboratories. The cottage has become a very special place for our family, where children & grandchildren come to enjoy a bit of summer. Woods Hole is a charming, lovely town - perfect for families!
