Loved the property, enjoyed the time we stayed there. Love the old and rustic vibe of the place. Suggestion, love the place, but a little more maintenance and cleanliness would be a charm to the place. Overall great place. There was no wifi during our trip which was a bummer since there is literally no network. So if wifi also doesn’t work you are literally in the middle of the woods with no connection to outside world.

Awesome place, great for small gateway, very close to national parks
We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The mountain view from the bedroom was breathtaking, especially at sunrise, and the location couldn’t have been more convenient—just a short drive to the Sequoia National Park entrance. The check-in process was seamless, and Renee, our host, was fantastic with her quick and clear communication. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful and scenic getaway!

Had a wonderful stay in the cozy cabin. Loved the little touches the host provided. Overall four bc the shower needs better water pressure. It was peaceful and definitely in the woods. Very close to the Foothill Entrance of the NP.
This was just fine for what we needed. The place is quaint and just what you need if you’re spending the day up in the park. Host was very friendly. The kitchenette area doesn’t have a sink or stove but we brought a cooler full of frozen food to warm up the first night. Very fun and charming place. Would do it again.
Quiet and comfortable . I brought my own cooking top for camping because it’s a kitchenette only … no cooking stove. It was fine 👍
My dog loved to watch the birds on the window.
Star gazing at night in your own private backyard of the cabin was so relaxing.
Don't waste your money. We did and we had little to no water pressure to shower. We could not properly bathe. The amenities described were not there. No spa, no real kitchen, no washer, refrigerator set on high and still didn't keep cold Nowhere to unpack your clothing, poorly insulated with uneven AC cooling. Gates broken. Gave 2 star because cabin was cozy and there is a beautiful picture window, the king bed was comfortable. But, not enough to keep us in this poorly kept cabin. We were so dissappointed we cut our stay short. Reached out to host still no response after 3 days.

I'm from San Francisco and fell in love with this area at first sight and settled here after my husband died. I love animals and have made my home a sanctuary for rescued dogs, horses and a cat.
Why they chose this property
This property is actually within the boundaries of Sequoia National Park and is home to many animals and birds such as bears, coyotes, deer, eagles, ravens, hawks, snakes, lizards, bobcats, mountain lions, foxes, squirrels, and may be seen on any given day around here. The views are exceptional of the snow-capped mountains in the winter, the wildflowers in the spring, and even the fall colors of the trees are pretty decent, too. One thing you'll have to get used to is how quiet it is. I love it!
What makes this property unique
This property is only 4 miles from Sequoia National Park which is handy during the summer months when the park is very busy. We are also on Mineral King Road which is on the way to the Mineral King area of Sequoia NP. The cabin itself is very rustic, don't expect the Palais De Paris. (I've had it happen when a husband thought he would surprise his wife, a new mother, dressed in conservative designer duds, heels, and a disappointed face. It was the middle of summer, hot and dusty, and coyotes howled pretty close by. I truly felt for her. She was on the verge of tears, and her 6-week-old infant was screaming at the top of his little lungs. That's when I suggested to Dad that if he wanted to save his marriage he better say his prayers and fly her to Las Vegas far away from my cute little cabin in the middle of this wonderful wilderness.)
