Oceanview STUDIO APT 4B Near Beach - Paradise Point
Welcome to Paradise Point’s Studio Apartment 4B, the ideal budget-friendly retreat for your stay in Barbados. Perfect for solo travelers or couples, this cozy studio can accommodate up to four guests with a comfortable double bed and a sofa bed. The apartment features a fully equipped kitchenette, a dining area, a small workspace, a private bathroom, and a private balcony with ocean views. Guests can also access shared amenities, including a pool, rooftop deck with BBQ facilities, and a laundry room. Our location is just a 12-minute walk to the beach and a short drive from the vibrant areas of Oistins and St. Lawrence Gap, known for great food and nightlife.
PROPERTY LIMITATIONS:
Accessibility: Please note that our property is built on the Maxwell Hill cliff front, offering beautiful ocean views but requiring navigation of several flights of stairs. Apartment 4B is located on level 4, one flight down from the top entrance and four flights up from the bottom entrance. Due to the stair access, it may not be suitable for those with mobility issues.
Budget-Friendly Accommodations: We pride ourselves on providing clean, comfortable, and budget-friendly accommodations. The furnishings, including metal bed frames and memory foam mattresses, are economical yet functional. Our linens and towels are also budget-conscious selections. While the beds are comfortable, they may make some noise with heavy movement.
Compact and Efficient Design: The apartment and the property feature compact yet functional spaces. Please refer to the floor plan provided in the photos for a clear space layout.
Eco-Friendly Considerations: We use solar-powered water heaters, which may not heat the water to very high temperatures, particularly on cloudy or rainy days.
Air Conditioning: We use wall-mounted window air conditioning units, which may not be as quiet or efficient as central systems. To conserve energy, we request that guests only use the air conditioning units while present in the apartment.
Renovations: Interior renovations may occur on levels 4 and 5 during your stay, typically between 10 am and 6 pm on weekdays. We strive to minimize noise and disruption.
Guest Access and Events: Guests have full access to the property, including shared exterior spaces. For groups larger than the booking occupancy or additional visitors, please reach out to us to arrange for a Visitors Pass or to rent the poolside party cabana or rooftop deck for private events.
Linens and Towels: We provide bath towels and bed sheets but do not supply beach or pool towels. We do not provide blankets or comforters as we are located in a tropical climate.
Communication: The property does not have landlines. Guests are encouraged to bring their mobile phones and may wish to purchase a local SIM card or use Wi-Fi for communication.
Private Events: The pool/cabana area may be rented for private events during weekends or school holidays. We will notify guests of any scheduled events, which typically last 4-6 hours and end by 10 pm.
Limited Services: We operate as a private rental and do not offer hotel-like services, there are NO: bellyboys, front desk staff, or daily housekeepers. Our staff are available only between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm from Monday-Friday and are off on weekends, except for emergencies.
Local Accessibility: Barbados does not have extensive public wheelchair accessibility, and sidewalks may be uneven or non-existent. We recommend renting a car if you are traveling with children or have mobility concerns.
Local Wildlife: As a tropical destination, guests may encounter local wildlife, including monkeys, lizards, birds, crickets, rain flies, frogs, mosquitoes, and our friendly resident cat, Ginger.
Utility Outages: While infrequent, island-wide utility outages may occur, especially during hurricane season. Our central location on the South Coast typically ensures quicker restoration of services, but please note that we do not have backup water tanks, generators, or satellite communication systems.
