About the host
Hosted by Karen Joyner-Winlund

I am a Yoga and Pickleball enthusiast, who splits her time between, NJ, Sweden and Florida. We enjoy hosting our home when we are not there. We have a local property manager who handles the day to day needs of our guests.
Why they chose this property
The Gillespie Park ideal location adjacent to downtown Sarasota and the bourgeoning Rosemary District, Gillespie Park is in the center of all Sarasota has to offer. With its fusion of craftsman bungalows, mediterranean revival, and modern architectural styles continuing the great tradition of the Sarasota School of Architecture, Gillespie Park is a living expression of the City’s design progression. Our ten-acre park filled with grand oaks, resident aquatic birds, sports courts, walking trails, provides residents and visitors a natural oasis to enjoy when not taking advantage of all the surrounding cultural and culinary options Gillespie Park and downtown Sarasota have to offer.
What makes this property unique
The home is a 1925 Bungalow that has been carefully and thoughtfully renovated. It retains the old Florida charm but has all the modern conveniences with high ceilings, central air and hurricane impact windows.
