About this property

This large a-frame cabin is great for a couple or family to vacation during the summer and fall months. We rent from June through October. Easy access for all vehicles. Your getaway has amazing views, quiet and relaxing location. Within 25 miles of Colorado Spring, and 90 Miles to Denver. All accommodations are up to date. New walk in shower and new appliances in the kitchen. Direct TV, internet and phone, but we bet you will never use them. One lot is rolling rock with outdoor fireplace and plenty of wildlife. Great restaurants, breweries, hiking.

Great Property

The stay was incredible. House well stocked and extremely accurate listing. Hiking was great nearby just off of property and quite literally was the perfect place for our family getaway.

Amazing, cabin was ideal in location, and came with everything needed.It was perfect, we had deer in the yard , and a bear at one point, we will go back

Perfect get away

Great place!

My family of four stayed at this cabin and had a terrific experience. The location was perfect for being remote enough to feel like we were really away from things, but we could also run to the grocery store in a 10 minute drive. The kitchen was really well stocked and made it easy for us to feel like we were home. There were some deer that came around every day. The hosts were super easy to communicate with. Our family would highly recommend this property.

Paradise

This cabin, set against mountain rocks, is the perfect getaway. Stunning views, plenty of wildlife passing through, and so peaceful. Great proximity to local attractions. Most of these VRBO homes feel like what they are - rental homes - but Selah (the cabin has a name!) has her history documented in multiple, beautifully indexed photo albums; it's a home. We felt very blessed to stay here. A perfect vacation.

Perfect getaway

It was the perfect get away for us. We got to stay a little out in the country wasn’t a far drive from the things we wanted to do. We loved it and the kids enjoyed it and they had games and good places to take photos outside. It was a good home away from home experience. Oh and we saw a bear and a ton of deer ❤️

Live action

Cabin has everything you need. Mule deer lying under porch to welcome us when we arrived, An 8pt with velvet came by in the afternoon. Deer and chipmunks visited us every day. Always saw live action on our daily walks (turkey, deer, chipmunks, squirrels, rabbits). With property @9100ft in elevation the temps were perfect.

Nature At Its Best

We had a great time the house was amazing and the pictures online didn' t do it justice. We love nature and were looking for that experience, we had deer right out the front door. Out the back door it was like elephant rock. Great Experience look forward to doing it again.

First time to this area.

Well if your looking for a mountain retreat this is it. It's a little drive to Woodland Park. But, it has everything you need without going into Colorado Springs. The cabin was cozy. You felt at home as soon as you walked in. I was worried about not AC. The first 2 night the day was rainy and had to start a fire inside the Aframe because it was chilly inside. Colorado Springs was over 100 degrees that day. It was 75 at the cabin. The chipmunks at the cabin would eat out of your hand. My kids loved it. We had a deer sleeping under the front porch twice. The deck opened to a mountainous rock with a fire pit. In the morning on a clear day the landscape so snowcaps in the distance. If your looking for a great price with a great place this place is a deal. So you know all the firewood was included. Also little things were there also. Like ketchup and other condiments. It was an perfect experience and we loved it.

Family Vacation

This property was perfect for our family vacation to Colorado. Everything you could possibly need was available. Kids loved wandering around the property and the outdoor games. We had a blast and loved the cabin. Would definitely rent again.

Beautiful cabin and surrounding area

We had a wonderful stay. The cabin is exactly how its described. Very clean and well kept. The view from the back is beautiful. After full days of exploring Colorado springs and other areas my 8yr old daughter loved to hike around the cabin of course being mindful not to stray too far since we couldn't tell when we were in someone else's property. But the neighbors to the right were a very kind. The owner responds quickly and is kind himself. I will definitely rent this cabin again when we go back.

Wonderful place to stay

We loved staying in this cabin. It was fully equipped. Very nice piece of property. The wildlife on the property made this stay even better. We had deer chimpmonks and hummingbirds that came right up on deck and almost seemed domesticated. We were able to open sliding glass doors and put food out while they were standing there. I highly recommend this place.

Wonderfull, clean and comfortable place to get away.

We had a very nice stay at this A frame cabin. It's was very clean and comfortable for my family. We especially enjoyed the deck out back with the wild life and beautiful mountain view. The kitchen is well equipped and there were plenty of sheets, blankets and pillows. We were there in the spring, and the weather was quite nice, so it didn't get too hot for us. In the heat of the summer, without air conditioning, it might get a little warm inside. The overhead fan in the dinning room and the fan upstairs kept us cool and comfortable when we were there though. We had seven people, and this cabin had room for all of us.

Fantastic rental cabin

We spent 4 wonderful nights at the cabin with our little dachshund, Frida. The cabin had everything we needed and with the fireplace kept us warm. Frida loved to run and smell all around the property. Perfect little get away cabin. We would stay here again without any hesitation.
