This adorable vintage lakefront cottage full of character on quiet street will remind you of Grandma's house! The Tea Time Cottage is available year-round and features three bedrooms and two full baths including a huge master suite overlooking Lake Huron with French doors and Juliet balcony. Take a relaxing walk or bike ride to beach, marina, parks, downtown shopping, dining, bars, live theater, museum and historic lighthouse. A short drive to the south takes you to the village of Lexington where you will find more shopping, dining, marina, golf, Putt-Putt golf, brewery, wineries and another live theater venue! There is also a drive-in movie theater just a few miles to the west! Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher and Keurig brewer, gas fireplace (note: fireplace is disabled in the summer season), Xfinity high speed WiFi, two smart TVs, washer/dryer, Weber charcoal grill and wood burning fire pit. Sleeping accommodations include one queen bed, one double bed, one twin bed, one queen sleeper sofa, one double sleeper sofa and one twin sleeper sofa. We also have a crib/toddler bed for your littlest beach buddy! Lovely outdoor living areas include two furnished decks, lawn, beach and gardens. Game room with pool table and ping pong table. One person kayak available after July 5, 2022 with additional rentals available at local marina, Lexington marina or on the Black River in Croswell. Perfect for a couples retreat, best friends get-away or smaller family gatherings!

Comfy and cozy.

Very relaxing. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a very quiet enjoyable stay. People in town were very nice and friendly. Went to sleep every night listening to waves hitting the shore. :)

The Tea House in Port Sanilac is a Delight!

Great stay at a wonderful beachfront house. One thing I didn't realize on booking is that you can walk into a fun little beach town with a great restaurant, ice cream, and a Marina to watch the ships come and go. We would all like to visit again soon.

Perfect location

We loved spending time on the private beach, playing corn hole or enjoying the fire pit in the yard, or just relaxing and taking in the magnificent views of the lake from the large deck or anywhere in the house. Had fun playing pool. Great to be able to use both gas and charcoal grills and the kitchen had everything we needed. Comfortable beds. Beautifully kept up and friendly neighborhood. Great places to eat and activities close by (loved Lexington). We are already talking about our next stay here!!!

Lovely Cottage

The house is older and very quaint. The furnishings are all very cute and comfortable and fit the Tea Time Cottage theme. I felt like I was staying at Grandma’s house on the lake! We loved walking our dogs on the quiet street, and enjoyed each little area of the home - the large dining table, the multiple seating options, the deck, the garage/game room, and the upstairs suite. We appreciated having access to all the chairs, yard games, bikes, and other small amenities. The only challenge was the slow draining upstairs shower. Overall, we had a very pleasant 9-day stay, and I would gladly return!

Very Nice place

Very happy with the place, but the only thing that is troubling is the bath shower. If you have a knee injury you may have difficulty getting in an out. Also there were no washclothes or we could not find those, but we made it great. Enjoy your self when you go here.

Teacup cottage weekend

My family had a wonderful time here. As soon as we walked in, everyone loved it. It felt so warm and inviting. The view of Lake Huron is absolutely beautiful from the main sitting room. Our host was so easy to communicate with and she thought of everything at the cottage. From labeled light switches, to a crib in one of the rooms, to bins of sand toys for the kids, things were so well thought out. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

A perfect place for a family Thanksgiving

We loved our time at the cottage. It was so comfortable and the views are absolutely incredible. Beds were very comfortable and the whole house was well stocked with anything one could need. The location is perfect. Very close to purchase anything you may have forgotten.

Everything you need very happy and satisfied

The home was beautiful and well stocked with sundries, salt, pepper, seasonings, all the basics (pots, pans, plates, etc). The garages is packed with pool table, ping pong, corn hole, 2 bikes, foot pump, boogie boards for beach/ back yard fun. And much more. Both types of grills were onsite as well gas and charcoal. Plenty of seating outside on the deck and plenty of chairs to take to the beach. Walking distance to town and Roxannes for a breakfast. The beach for us was sandy about 80%. Some minor pebbles to one side. The beds linens and towels were clean and cozy. The view from the deck and the beach watching the sunrise was amazing. Memories made- town is so close our teenagers took advantage of everything it had to offer with a 8 minute walk. Internet worked perfect but I have to say with the view and the beach we hardly looked at our phones and did not watch tv the entire trip. Thank you Angela for answering the few questions we had so fast. Great host!!!!!! Thank you for the smores and welcome note!!!! We had a fire every night and enjoy the stars and freighters too. Hope to be back next year!!!!!!!

Beautiful Stay on Lake Huron

We stumbled on this property after our search for a spot on Lake Michigan came up empty - What LUCK!! The home exceeded our every expectation. Having a private little beach to enjoy is probably the highlight of the home, but we also found it was easy to keep everyone's screen time to near nothing each day. Our kids just played inside and outside (even the tween and teenager) or just took walks to the marina for ice cream. Getting a fire going, roasting smores and watching 4th of July fireworks right from the backyard was everyone's favorite part of our trip. The neighborhood is charming, the neighbors all very nice and Angela could not have been more attentive when we had questions or needed ideas of things to do nearby. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here if the dates are open for a future trip!

A Room with a View

Quaint cottage. A bit outdated (the bathtubs are a challenge to get in and out of and the pedestal sink has no room to put your toiletries) but otherwise the kitchen was well equipped and functional, the living room furniture was comfortable. The entire back of the house has windows to watch the waves. There are plenty of comfortable chairs on the deck and grass by the firepit. There is direct access to a small sandy area on the lake. I assume you can swim there, but the lake was too cold to do anything more than stick our toes in. The hostess keeps plenty of games in the garage-turned-game room that also sports a ping-pong and pool table. Lots of outdoor games available too. The hostess really goes out of her way to have everything you need/want for a lake vacation.

Five Friends at Tea Time

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tea Time! The location right on the water was ideal. We loved sleeping to the sounds of the waves! We walked to the marina and to the shops in Port Sanilac several times. The cottage was clean with lovely linens and towels. Our only complaints involved the efficiency of the coffee maker in the kitchen and the oven and stove.

Great location and property

Our stay at the Tea Time Cottage was great. We went for 5 days and 6 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The location and neighborhood is wonderful. We had a 4 year old child and a dog and we took lots of walks in the neighborhood. There were lots of people out and about walking their dogs. It felt like a nice little neighborhood. At the end of the street is a park near the marina, which we went to every day with our daughter. She really liked it and it was an adventure to get out and go. There is an ice cream store right in the marina and so we stopped there 2 times during our stay. Very convenient. The upstairs bedroom and bathroom was a great open space for me, my husband, and daughter to have and spread out. My mom and grandma stayed in the bedrooms downstairs. The deck is fantastic to sit on and read while listening to the waves. Lots of chairs provided. We went down to the beach and made sand castles a few times. Donna has sand/beach toys which was really handy and convenient! We loved the game room and the games provided. We played several rounds of Sequence for Kids, and ping pong. The Stone Lodge is conveniently up the road and we ordered take out from there a few nights. They had great food. If you are bringing someone with mobility issues (e.g., an elderly person), know that the shower in the upstairs tub is quite high and while there are helpful stairs to get into it, it could be an issue. I didn't pay as careful attention as I should have. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! Donna was very communicative and left a gift for us for when we arrived! We give it 5 out of 5 stars.

Peaceful Sanctuary

We spent 3 weeks here during the off season, so we were not able to fully enjoy the property. As we were otherwise homeless, it was a pleasant peaceful visit during a very stressful period. Angela was an amazing helpful property manager. Would like to stay again during nice weather.
