We are brand new hosts on VRBO but have subleased our property many times before to family and friends as well as on Airbnb. We love sharing our home and know you will enjoy the house and the neighborhood!
Why they chose this property
Emeryville is unique and I spent years trying to find a house here. Unlike Oakland or even Berkeley, the streets here are wide, quiet, and paved well, there is a fantastic and slow bike and walking path, and you're right by the water so the temperature is really moderate because of that. The water gives off a nice breeze during the hotter months and cleans the air. This neighborhood is quiet, safe, and is the closest neighborhood on this side of the Bay for driving to San Francisco. Its a quick 20 minutes without traffic. I love all the fruit trees, the doggies, the parklettes, dog parks, and the Bay street shopping center and the AMC movie theater there- all within walking distance.
What makes this property unique
This is a rare find- a one bedroom house on its own lot, with private outdoor spaces, a driveway, and all the amenities you could want. The kitchen is fantastic for fellow cooks and the home gets tons of sunlight. It is South-facing and there are windows to every angle as well. It is a perfect-sized home for a vacation or short-term stay of a few months because of the amazing kitchen, bathtub, and laundry inside. It makes being here so comfortable. I'm lucky to have this home.
