Great location!!

Perfect home for small family. Location was perfect for quick access to beach and restaurants. Home was as described and very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Wonderful Cottage - perfect beach stay

We loved our stay here! Perfect location! The house was so clean and well kept - cool and comfortable. Had everything we needed for a comfortable stay with family of 4. Enjoyed being able to use the kayaks! Will definitely try to stay here again in the future. Enjoyed out stay here very much!

A Great Vacation in OBX

Nice cottage in quiet neighborhood. Use of kayaks in the canals that are right behind the property. Would rent again. Minutes (driving) to beach.

Was beyond our expectations! The cottage is just the cutest and was plenty space for us. Was clean and had everything you would need for a beach day! The neighbors were very friendly and my kids made friends with their kids. Chilly Hanks was a must stop place for ice cream 😊 We really enjoyed being on the canal and close to the beach ramp. We will book here every year now! Thank you 😊

Love it here

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was larger and nicer than the pictures made it seem. The sunsets are amazing. And the neighbors were very friendly. The owners also stopped by to ensure we had everything we needed, even leaving some extra chairs for us in case we needed them. It was a wo derful experience overall amd we plan to rebook for next year!

Clean, Great Views and Convenient Location

Our stay here was amazing. The house was VERY clean (I am picky about that) and the most well-equipped kitchen I have seen in a rental. The sunsets on the deck were beautiful. The beds were comfortable. I loved having a washer/dryer. The outdoor shower was great for sandy bodies. We loved being able to take the kayaks out on the sound. The neighborhood was cute and quiet, great for walking/running. And it's all a short drive to the beach. We had a great time!

Great family trip

My family and I enjoyed our trip. The house is on the water and has kayaks that we used almost everyday. The beds were comfortable and house was clean. Loved not having to bring linens. Favorite beach access was near the lighthouse. Will hopefully get to come back in the future!

Awesome Stay, The home was super clean and we loved the location. Right on the water and has its own dock, Weather kept us from bringing our boat but next time we will. The owners were great and greeted us at the home. Will stay there again, 6 STARS!!

Fish Tales was a beautiful cottage ! Very clean and convenient to everything we wanted to do and explore . Restaurants and shops within few miles . Highly recommend staying here . We will hopefully get to come back soon !!!

Great house for our family of 5

We would definitely stay here again. This was a great house for our family of 5. The outdoor shower was lovely and our preferred choice. The kids loved cast netting from the dock. We caught several small puppy drum right from the dock. We took advantage of the kayaks and explored the canals and into the sound. Beds were comfy. Kitchen well stocked. We spend our days fishing between Avon and Hatteras Inlet so this location was a great central location for us. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Perfect family getaway

My wife and I took our 11 and 13yr olds and had an amazing time. The beds were comfortable and the amenties were excellent. My kids loved the ability to fish off the dock, take out the multiple kayaks (6 in total) and checking the crab pots each morning. The views were great for morning coffee. The house itself is centrally located between ramps 43/44 and 48/49 so you have your pick of where you can go each day

Great, clean, well stocked cottage at a great location!

Communication was great, cottage is the perfect size for just two or a few more. The kitchen is well stocked with all the dishes, pots etc... you need. We caught some crabs with the traps available for use. Lots of kayaks, canoes, paddles and life jackets. A big plus was the gas grill was CLEAN and we used it quite alot! We stayed for 2 weeks and the deck furniture was great for relaxing. Fish Tales was great and would book again!

Outer banks vacation

Brigands Bay was the perfect spot for our first stay in the Outer Banks. Easy drive to many sites like Kitty Hawk, the ferry to Ocracoke, the lighthouses, and so many beautiful beaches. This was a very relaxing vacation.

Great get Away!

Loved the location. Cottage is as advertised. It felt like home and was well maintained. This is great for 4 or 5 people. My son and I stayed there and it was roomy and comfortable. High regards from our stay.

Favorite!

This house is perfect for my family’s needs. It’s clean and convenient to the beach not to mention affordable! The owners have thought of everything.. We’ve stayed here multiple times since it was built and have never had a problem. This is our favorite place to stay when we’re in Frisco.

Perfect Beach Cottage

We had a great time at this property this past week. The cottage was very clean and had absolutely everything you need for a fun and relaxing stay. The small community feel is exactly what we like and even the teenagers had a lot to do every day compared to our past beach vacations in other locations. Fishing, visiting museums/historical markers and neighboring towns, ferry ride to Ocracoke Island, short drive to the beach with plenty of free parking, local restaurants and shops, and kayaking in the canal. Overall it was a great vacation stay!!
