MONTH OF MAY SPECIAL - Very low rate for booking multiple weeks. A quiet time of year. You will feel like you "own" the beach. The cape is fully open but without the crowds or the heat.
LET ME KNOW IF YOU WANT ALL FOUR WEEKS AND I WILL LOWER YOUR RATE FURTHER.
What we are looking for someone interested in booking two or more weeks in May. If so, we will lower the rate substantially. Email for a quote. We rent from Saturday to Saturday. If you are interested in a different month, then check out our other two listings.
Average temperature from 66-70 degrees. One of the top months for the most sunny days. Whatever fits your mood - you can wear t-shirts and jeans, sweatshirts and shorts and a bathing suit on some days. Provincetown is fully open without the crowds. and that includes their famous nightlife. In May, you don't have to "search" for a parking space. Also, the shuttle bus is running.
Many people come with a book and a lawn chair and park themselves on the beach. Others come to explore the cape without the crowds.
This is the perfect BEACH RETREAT on the outer cape in the Beach Point area of Truro.
The Beach Point area is a hidden secret on the Cape. People who have discovered this say "Don't tell anyone".
You have to experience the Outer Cape. THERE IS NOTHING LIKE IT. BEAUTIFUL WEATHER AND PERFECT ATMOSPHERE.
This is a charming quaint private beach cottage. Clean, bright and comfortable interior. Newly painted. Cottage has two bedrooms and a kitchen/living room area. Cottage sleeps five. One bedroom has a full size bed and the other bedroom has a bunkbed with a full size on the bottom and a single on top. NO SMOKING inside the cottage. Smoking allowed outside on the property. NO PETS.
It has a full kitchen, refrigerator with freezer, gas stove with an oven, cooking utensils, microwave, waffle maker, coffee maker, ice blender, toaster, popcorn popper, TWO flat screen TVs (one in kitchen/living room and one in a bedroom), cable, internet, FREE wifi, gas heater, ceiling fan, window fans, no AC, small grass lawn, picnic table w/umbrella, lawn chairs, charcoal grill, and a safe off the street parking lot. Parking is limited to TWO vehicles. No boat trailers or campers.
There is also a reading library, board games, a hair dryer, radio, beach chairs and a beach umbrella.
For your safety our cottage has a carbon monoxide detector, a smoke detector and a fire extinguisher.
Cottage is just a few steps from our private beach.
The Outer Cape area has much to offer: shopping, sight seeing, bike trails, bike rentals, walking trails, array of restaurants, salt/fresh water fishing, fishing charters, golf, drive-in theater, indoor theater, flea markets, art galleries, antique shops, a Winery and a ferry that goes to Boston or Block Island.
You need to bring bed linens, bath towels, bath mats, kitchen towels and beach towels. Bedspreads, blankets, and pillows are provided.
We have owned our cottages since 1979. Many guests return year after year. Now some of their children are returning with their own families.
Our cottage is in a family oriented group of 10 cottages. We have a manager who lives on the property.
