This majestic three bed, two bath stone lodge is built of granite and quartz with charming, exposed Aspen beams and ceilings, and beautiful stained glass. Enter through a light-filled sunroom perfect for breathing deeply. The main floor bedroom has direct access to a full bath with claw footed tub. The large study includes French doors for greater privacy. The living room features a gorgeous stone, gas fireplace with remote. Radiant floor heating warms the house throughout. An Open floor plan connects the living room to a newly renovated kitchen with granite countertops, trash compactor, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice maker, and gas stove. A formal dining table is perfect for entertaining large parties or cozy up in the bench seat for intimate gatherings. The back mud room provides additional storage and connects from the kitchen and dining area to the dog run and outdoor deck. Enjoy time with friends and family on the large deck with gas grill and ample table seating. Or enjoy one of the four outdoor seating spaces including gas fireplace overlooking the serene pond and spectacular mountain view.
Upstairs bedrooms share a newly updated, spa-like five-piece bathroom with jetted tub, and double shower. Wake up in the master suite where you have your own wet bar including granite countertop, fridge, and sink. You can enjoy hot coffee without leaving your bed. The third bedroom has spectacular mountain and pond views, ample closet space, and quaint cubbies. An additional reading room provides a twin bed and secluded space for quiet reflection.
This dream mountain home is 2,500 sq ft of living space, tucked away with birds, deer, fox, elk, and an occasional bear. It is easily accessible by well-maintained paved roads. A short ten- minute drive to Conifer, and fifteen-minutes to Evergreen provides the rare chance to live secluded in nature with the convenience of grocery stores, restaurants, and access to 285 and I-70.

Historical Gem with modern day amenities

The property is a historical gem where you can see multiple layers of different uses throughout its many eras. But not for being historical, is uncomfortable. On the contrary. This house has the most logical and convenient updates imaginable. Everything works, everything is where it’s supposed to be or where you would expected it to be, and everything is high quality, From the linens in the bed and towels in the bathroom, to all the kitchen equipment and utensils. The hostess was amazing and always very responsive and on top of things, considering the sometimes special needs when dealing with Alpine weather. This is an exceptional property run by a stellar hostess, and I gladly give it five stars only because you cannot give more.
