At the foot of Pucara de Tilcara, among crop fields worked by Don Santos, lies Casa Andina. Constructed using traditional techniques according to the pre-Colombian architecture.
The house is like an Incan fortress and has a terrace with a view of Pucara de Tilcara that will call your name until the sun sets, especially when you are going to have breakfast or read during siesta time.
Inside there are four large bedrooms with closets.
One double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom, another with two beds or optionally one double bed. The third bedroom has three beds (including a bunk bed).
The fourth bedroom/study has a chimney, an impressive library so you can lose yourself in the stories of our ancestors, and a picture window with a view of Pucara de Tilcara.
The house has two spacious bathrooms with antique bathtubs for relaxing with a bath under the molle tree after a day in the countryside.
The stone living room has a leather couch across from the impressive chimney where guests can enjoy an exquisite high altitude wine.
Large 8-person dining room integrated into the living room.
The kitchen has large windows with a country-style table for having breakfast and drinking mate.
In the BBQ or under the molle tree we can make roasts and meals in the clay oven. Guests can receive a visit from Lalo with his magical massages or from Eva for a yoga class, or walk to their nearby studio.
This is where Santos Manfredi departs with his caravan of llamas to have breakfast in the Dupont high altitude winery or to have lunch in a nomadic tent in the hills. Or go by horse toward the Valleys.
