Weekend Getaway

Scenic property, the pictures on the listing don't do it justice. The house was clean and fully equipped. Amanda responded quickly to my messages. We will look to stay here again in the future.

Labor day weekend

This place is absolutely beautiful and has everything you might need. We had such an amazing time playing giant jenga, corn hole, and Uno. We made s'more's on the fire table and enjoyed sitting in the porch. We brought our tubes and floated down the river in front on the cabin. My son learned how to trout fish from a man that was fishing the river. The neighbors were friendly and the host is very quick to answer all questions. I would recommend this place to everybody. It's very peaceful and relaxing.

About the host

Purchasing this property has been an absolute dream that we've worked towards for the past 18 years. The location on the Nottely River, along with the character and feel-good vibe of the cabin, captivated us. We're quite the vintage and rustic vibe enthusiasts!

We hope you love your stay and enjoy all the wonderful things the North Georgia mountains have to offer.. We live locally here in Blairsville, raising our two children, Poppie (6) and Barrett (9), which inspired the name Poppie B's.

Why they chose this property

You’ll fall in love with the neighborhood—it’s truly special with the river running right through it! Each home is a unique blend of rustic elegance, adding to the charm of the area. We enjoy peaceful walks through the community, where there’s little traffic and a scenic stroll over the bridge across the Nottely River. It’s picturesque, unique, and absolutely perfect. The cabin is nestled in Choestoe, the "Land of the Dancing Rabbits." We’ve even included a book in the cabin that shares the story of Choestoe!

What makes this property unique

The craftsmanship and rustic charm of the home, with its stained glass accents, rough-sawn wood, river rock fireplace, and native landscaping, completely captivated us. Our children instantly ran to the river and began playing! You can’t even build that close to the river anymore. We envisioned our family enjoying cookouts, making s'mores, and simply unwinding in this perfect getaway. We knew other families would fall in love with it, too.
