Beautiful area, kind people. Enjoyed my stay here. Was able to access the cabin in a sports coupe with no problem. Wished the internet was working, but I know the internet and cell service can be spotty in the mountains. Bring an ethernet cable, just in case.
I have come to this property 2 times for little weekend getaways. Its a clean, quiet, adorable little cabin in the woods. I love the outdoor center is near by. Lots local restaurants and fun things to explore not too far away. I love the hot tub and creek view!
The property was true to its description. It was incredibly well stocked and had everything we needed. Cooked breakfast and dinner during our whole stay and it felt like home away from home. Even though it was cold and rainy part of our stay, we managed to use the hot tub twice and with the help of a bottle of lighter fluid we even had a campfire.. You might want to consider a step stool for the kitchen for people that can't reach the upper cabinet. None of us could access the wifi during our stay. Not for the lack of trying. However that was not a deal breaker. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Staying at Todd & Lindy's cabins is always a wonderful time for all involved! This year we visited to start our year off right! The kids got to experience snow flurries for the 1st time. The cabin was decorated for the holidays and that made it even more magical. It always feels like home when we get to visit and we cant wait to start planning our next trip up! Thank you for sharing your slice of serenity with us! -The Trumm Family
Decorated beautifully for Christmas. Everything provided.Wonderful sounds of the living water outside. it was so loud and great to hear. Comfortable furniture and plenty of room for our standard poodle. Thanks for the experience.
Great location- just minutes from downtown Andrews, private backyard with a creek, fire pit and a long porch with a hot tub. We appreciated that the owner has cable TV in addition to the smart TV. There is also a Verizon phone line that was not working but the owner is working on fixing it. The owner was very responsive via messaging to issues/questions. Negatives are that if you plan to do a lot of cooking indoors for a long stay with multiple people the kitchen is a bit small. We were glad we had additional cookware. The road in is narrow to point that you would have to back up if another car was coming the other way but during our 2 week stay we never ran into another car- the road is not steep or difficult to navigate. We would stay again because it was so relaxing with the creek and privacy and having a responsive host is a big plus.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every detail was considered. Easy to get to, no issues with check-in, hot tub worked wonderfully and the creek was a soundtrack for the weekend. Thank-you!
Great meeting place for our family get together. We had family coming from Alabama, Tennessee, NC. Only 4 hour drive for the majority of us. The cabin was perfect and very secluded by a stream. Thank you Lindy for sharing your place!!
We loved the cabin. Wish we could have spent more time there, but we were at a family reunion nearby and only stayed at the cabin to sleep and shower for 2 nights. We didn't really get a chance to enjoy the lovely surroundings. We would definitely recommend this cabin for others. The only thing is that there were 3 of us so I took a bedroom and my brother took the other and the fold out bed has no privacy and the mattress is way too thin for anyone to sleep on. Also there is no microwave. Other than that, it is a great cabin for the money.
The cabin was wonderful and the hot tub was fantastic! Lots of stuff to do in the area and near main roads to get where you are going. Host was easy to get a hold of with any questions. Would recommend to anyone!
