Summary:
This incredible 2-bedroom home in Yosemite West will bring back youthful feelings of being perched up in a lofty treehouse, relaxing in your own private space while surrounded by the tranquility of nature.
No need to worry about a vehicle reservation when staying in Timber Lodge! Your booking is your way in the gates!!!
The Space:
It’s an incredible opportunity to stay inside the gates of Yosemite National Park, soaking in the spectacular views and setting out on scenic hikes right from your backyard. For nature lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and travelers seeking the serenity of life away from the big city, there’s really no place better to spend your vacation! You’ll be within easy reach of all of the breathtaking attractions this natural wonderland holds while enveloped by the beauty and majesty of the mountainous landscape.
While secluded, the home is within a short distance from hotspots such as Yosemite Valley, offering several local restaurants to try new and local fare. Whether you’re out hiking one of the many trailheads or driving along the abundance of scenic routes, there’s virtually unlimited opportunity to stop along the way for photo ops of the panoramic views or taking a rest next to breathtaking waterfalls. Spring brings blooming wildflowers, summer offers clear skies and warm days, fall displays vibrant foliage, and winter transforms the park into a snowy wonderland. Each season offers a different but equally enchanting experience!
Indoors, the nature theme remains in full effect with warm wood trim and accents seamlessly blending each room together. Sink into plush sofa seating in the living room as you surf the channels or enjoy an evening movie, the wood burning fireplace keeping you warm and toasty during the cooler months. The fully equipped kitchen can accommodate all of your culinary needs should you decide to whip up delicious meals right from home or prepare a spread of afternoon appetizers. Snag a seat at the counter for quick and casual bites or gather the crew together for a more formal meal at the dining room table. In the warmer months, al fresco dining is also an option courtesy of the outdoor dining table where you can enjoy your fare with a side of fresh air.
This home comfortably sleeps 6 guests between 2 private bedrooms.
Bedroom #1 includes a queen size bed.
Bedroom #2 includes 2 queen size beds and an ensuite half bathroom with a single vanity.
The home also includes an additional full guest bathroom with a single vanity and walk-in shower.
THINGS TO NOTE:
• This home does not offer laundry facilities.
• Driveway parking available for 2 vehicles.
• Wi-Fi is available but Yosemite West is deep in the park and remote. Wi-Fi connectivity can be inconsistent at times. If you intend to be online for work or require consistent/constant connection, this may not be the best destination.
• Guests need not make a park entry reservation ahead of their visit but must show their confirmed booking information upon arrival and pay $35 per non-commercial vehicle to enter. Entry is good for 7 days.
• Firewood not provided.
• 48 steps are required to access the front door.
• This home is deep in Yosemite and one step from nature and as such is subject to the natural occurrences of snow, rain, wind, falling pine needles and leaves, dust/dirt, animals and insects. As these issues persist long after we clean, there are brooms, snow shovels and other necessary items to assist you in clearing decks, balconies, porches or other spaces.
