If you're looking for a mountain cabin, Rustic Knotty Pine is what you're looking for. Nearly a Shaver Lake original, this cabin will take you back in time!!!
Inside, there’s a rustic charm that radiates throughout the space with its exposed brick, wood burning stoves, and vaulted ceilings. Time spent at home will put guests immediately at ease. Plush couches offer a space to relax with a movie on the tv, while the kitchen is fully equipped for convenient cooking at home. Make use of the updated appliances and full suite of cookware, while the antique stove provides an authentic and unique backdrop. With a spacious deck enclosed by tall pine trees, Rustic Knotty Pine is the perfect place to relax and take in the beauty of the forest. Don't rent

We had a great trip to Shaver Lake but the accommodations through VRBO were very poor. This is a cabin that you go to just to have a place to get a hot shower and crash. It should not be rented in the winter because of the draft and heating issues. If rented, you should not pay more than 100 per night. VRBO should take this off there list of rental options. Pros:- location was great, walking distance to town and restaurants. - Hot waterCons:- I will highlight a few here but other than the pros above. everything was a negative - Dirty and poorly maintained- up to a 1.5 inch gap below the doors making it very drafty requiring the heater to run 24hrs a day despite being set on a low temperature. We needed to seal the doors with towels to try to keep the heat in.- toilets leaking and running all night. - difficult to open and close drawers in the kitchen - TV/satelite not working- loft would be very dangerous for small children- cigarette buts on the floor- empty boxes laying around
