The turn to the Cataloochee Ski Area is about 8 miles from the house. Downtown Waynesville features quaint shops, micro-breweries, and restaurants. It’s also centrally located between Asheville with the Biltmore Estate and Cherokee featuring Harrah's Casino and entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
