Amazing
The cleaning lady was very nice and for the most part able to communicate the operation and logistics of staying at the apartment. She did not speak English but I was able to garner a basic understanding of what she was saying. The apartment was received very clean.
The check in process involved sending a copy of my passport photo to the management office, something I had yet to be asked to do by any VRBO properties, so I was a little skeptical at first. I was worried about identity theft or some scammy type behavior, to be honest, but my worries were relieved when I received the apartment.
The representation of the apartment online is accurate and forthright.
Communication with the property manager was excellent. Bothe Sidnea and the property management company spoke English and were very timely with their responses.
The location of the apartment was fantastic, only about a 3 minute walk to the beach. The neighborhood seemed quite safe to others observed in the area, most nights I was there a police officer was patrolling the corner at all hours of night. It was located on the 3rd floor so easy to take the stairs for those who don't like elevators. It was easier to communicate outside of VRBO's messaging system.
Overall I had a wonderful experience at this apartment and had an absolutely fantastic experience in Rio. I will return to this property next time I visit Rio.
