Beautiful comfy and well equipped apartment on first floor ,of a period building of historic interest. Totally internally renovated. In the Castelli Romani area. Just a few steps from the bus stop linking Rome Metro A, Ciampino Airport and Castel Gandolfo. Part of the Sforza Cesarini palace in the heart of the ancient village overlooking the lake of Nemi.
The structure of the apartment makes it suitable for a couple or a family with 1 or 2 children .

THE VIEW - THE LOCATION - THE OWNERS- THE TOWN- THE OWNERS - THE SURROUNDING AREA - THE OWNERS- VINO

OK - where to start we are Australians living the dream of visiting Italy for 4 months and GENZANO DI ROMA was our first month - Well we were so spoilt !! Mau & Clara are the owners of the Pensione we rented the surrounding area is amazing looking at Lake NEMI every day is pretty special Visiting Rome via the rail link from Lanuvio was no trouble - The food and vino available in Genzano is so good!! Surrounding towns Frascati - Nemi - Arriccia - Marino - Albano all easily accessed by the local bus just great Enjoyed a wine tour and lunch in Frascati ! Accommodation - Everything you will need and more from the Fort Knox style front door to the lovely quiet air-con Fully equipped kitchen with Microwave Fast Wi-Fi and Sony TV with DVD and Library of movies & Music System Perfecto! Bathroom large enough with a bidot as well Shower has safety grab handles and non- slip mat in shower base - they have thought of everything and more - lovely huge bed - heaps of storage ! The surrounding neighborhood has 2 small Pubs 300m away to little hole-in-the-wall trattoria's just brilliant! The area is so quiet as the cars cannot get thru where the Pensione is ! The local Fruit 'nVeg guy called Virgilio (next to Carrefours Supermarket ) is so entertaining visit him! The town has the best Porchetta around and Danilo @ Norceneria is a legend! Juri the Seafood Restaurant owner is an entertaining welcoming character that gives special discounts for this Pensione customers! The Gelati outlet is too close and open too late oh and too good !!Yum!! We are going to try and return late September and would not even contemplate staying anywhere else !! We left our home in Australia some 8 months ago and meeting people like Mau & Clara makes us home-sick because we arrived as guests to immerse ourselves into the local culture and way of life but we are leaving as friends very good friends ! You may think oh we were here for a month that makes it understandable ? Wrong we knew immediately these are very special people and we shall miss them so much ! They do have a problem you need to be aware of - nothing is too much trouble and they do not have NO in their vocabulary - they are so genuine in their efforts to make sure you enjoy their region - we will miss them so much and now you may understand why they made us feel homesick - they treated us like family !!!
