Step out of the hustle and bustle, and step back in time to true island living. Our charming waterfront cottage offers a peaceful world for your island getaway. Sawmill Creek Cottage is comfortable and private, but still only one mile from downtown Friday Harbor on San Juan Island.

The cabin is nestled in its own private yard just feet away from a small bay, with a stream and pond as a boundary. The shared low bank beach on Jackson’s lagoon is a small saltwater bay where you can see blue herons, kingfishers, eagles, and the occasional deer or fox, and watch the moon rise bigger than life over the bay at dusk on a clear night. The tidal water fluctuates, and this property has a partial water view.

The queen bedroom is cozy and comfortable, and the full bathroom is just off of the bedroom. NOTE: if a guest is sleeping on the couch, they will have to walk through the bedroom to access the bathroom.

The secluded yard offers a patio table and barbeque for the summer months. Blackberries for pies or cobbler are there for the picking in early autumn. In the quiet winter months, create a second honeymoon or holiday turkey memoires in the snug warm cottage.
