Ann’s Cottage with direct, close beach access.

Ann's house is a cozy, original 1950's one story beach cottage in the Holmes Beach section of Anna Maria Island. It is a short six house walk to the beautiful sugar white sands and sparkling blue waters of the Gulf of Mexico. There are no streets to cross getting to the beach and there is a private walkway to the beach for the subdivision. Ann’s Cottage sits in a quiet residential neighborhood, yet is only one street away from shops, restaurants, and bars.

The home has all the comforts of home. There are extra large smart TVs are in every room and comfortable furniture. There are several social areas so everyone can do their own thing. Kids can sit on the large sectional in the main living area to watch tv or play board games. Mom can sit and read or watch tv in the quiet enclosed sunroom. There are two separate dining areas inside. The backyard of this home is a lush paradise. It is completely enclosed with a fence. There is a private outdoor gazebo with a fire pit, tv, hammock seating and a grill. There are several sun lounging chairs and an outdoor eating area. There is also an outdoor shower.
The backyard shed has everything you need for a day at the beach: chairs, , beach cart, cooler, umbrella, tent… there are also beach bikes.
This home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There are “extra large" smart TVs in the living room, sun room and each bedroom. Ceiling fans in every room. The main bathroom has a pull down hand held shower piece to bathe young children.
There is parking for two cars on the gravel driveway and for two more cars on the left side of the concrete driveway.
Enjoy kayaking, snorkeling, paddle boarding, biking, hiking (nature trails), fishing, turtle watching, museums, St Armands key and Tampa's Busch Gardens etc...

Guests will be able to use the entire 2-BR unit of this duplex--including laundry room, bedrooms, bathrooms, LR, Kitchen, Patio, etc.

Check-In: Begins at 4 p.m.
Check-Out: All guests must check-out by 10 a.m.

*Also, important to note, the Florida tourist tax (5%) of the rent will be collected PRIOR to check in--you will receive a separate email from OWNER requesting the payment. The tax that you pay with your reservation is the State Sales Tax (7%) Fee. Apologize for any confusion.

The cleaning fee is $200 per stay. We complete an enhanced cleaning protocol with a 5-step process between each stay. We want guests to feel comfortable coming into our rental knowing everything has been sanitized, including linens, door knobs, and TV remotes. Enhanced cleaning practices include cleaning with disinfectants, No-contact check-in and check-out, High touch surfaces cleaned with disinfectant.
**Our guests are NOT required to replace any paper or plastic products--we want our guests to feel at home and to relax and enjoy themselves. For convenience we provide cooking oils, spices condiments, paper products, coffee, shampoo, toothpaste, bath soap, and laundry soap. Guests will receive a complimentary bottle of wine upon arrival so they can start to kick back and get in beach vacation mode as soon as they arrive.
**Travel Protection Insurance, or trip cancellation coverage is extremely important and is highly advisable. Protect your booking, your flights, etc. Make sure you're dealing with a well-known brand, like Allianz Travel Insurance, Travelex, Travel Guard or Generali Global Assistance. GUEST RESPONSIBILITY:
Our guests shall take care of the Premises, it's appliances, furnishings, and maintain the home in a neat and sanitary way. Guests, family and friends will leave our home in the same condition as at check-in, including furniture placement. Many times, as tenants are checking out, new tenants are arriving same day. GUESTS shall be responsible for negligent or wrongful acts of THEIR GUESTS. Our premises shall not be used for unlawful purposes or offensive activity.
Our home is NON-SMOKING. Smoking is permitted on the outside lanai. We have provided an ashtray for your convenience. Security deposit kept for extra cleaning expenses--if it is determined tenants smoked In addition if there is EXCESS sand in our home, furniture and/or area rugs & carpet stains from sunscreen, or other severe food stains, monies will be kept for carpet steam-cleaning, professional dry cleaning, etc.


Please report any breakage and/ or damage during your stay. Upon departure AC should be put on 77.

My name is Gail Gutierrez Fabrega and I am a retired teacher. My family has been living on and coming to Anna Maria island for four generations. I lived in Panama for 16 years where my husband and I raised our three children. Now that my children are grown and on their own, I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting in my beach home. Getting the home ready so my tenants have a top notch experience is my goal. Seeing my “ regulars” yearly- many who have become friends, is something I always look forward to. I strive to make them feel like they are coming home when they come to the Island. My husband and I take great pride and joy in managing our homes ourselves.

Why they chose this property

I love the neighborhood because it is quiet and very safe. When we are there, we love to go for a walk around the house late at night. It is very quiet, the sky is always full of stars and there are wild bunnies that run around at night. Sitting in the gazebo at night with the fire going and a glass of wine is a sure way to unwind and connect with loved ones.

What makes this property unique

The home is in a great location. It is lovingly prepared for each tenant and checked by me personally before tenants arrive. The cleaning/ disinfecting process is very thorough between tenants. I am personally available to resolve any issues/ concerns that could come up. I strive to ensure my tenants have a wonderful vacation. I am a super host and the home has a preferred stays status by past tenants.
