Tiny "kitchenette" -- you get what you pay for

I stayed at the property 5 weeks. It was described as 1/2 of a duplex, and from the street view that looked fairly large, but in reality it is 1/2 of a duplex *unit* -- just one very small room. Prospective renters should pay close attention to the photos of the room in Vrbo, because that is all you get. In particular, the "kitchenette" is just a hot plate on top of the fridge, a microwave, and a plastic tub filled with various utensils. There is no counter space at all, even in the bathroom, making preparing food and washing dishes extremely difficult. There is a small folding table, 16"X16" that can be used for this and for eating on. There is wifi, but no television service is provided -- you have to bring your own cable service, even to watch the news.On the plus side, the washer and dryer are excellent, and the property management company is very responsive to requests, such as for additional cleaning or when the power goes out in parts of building (which it did twice during my visit). The pool looked nice, but I never used it.I would not recommend the property for an extended stay, especially if one plans on preparing meals there. It is value-priced. However, I would recommend comparing it with a two-star motel, which you might be able to get in the same area for less, and probably with more counter space for preparing food.
