Named for the enchanting nights when the moon casts a gentle glow over the wide-open mesa, this retreat offers a peaceful escape in the heart of Joshua Tree. As the sun sets and the stars emerge, the tranquility of the desert surrounds you, with gentle breezes and the distant call of coyotes. Whether you're soaking in the quietude or sharing a glass of wine under the night sky, Moonlight Mesa is a sanctuary of calm and serenity.

The Space:
During the day, immerse yourself in the myriad of activities our desert oasis has to offer. Cool off from the desert heat with a refreshing dip in the cowboy tub soaking pool or lounge in the hammocks with a good book as the gentle sway lulls you into relaxation. As evening approaches, gather around the gas fire pit for warm conversations and a glass of wine, or challenge your friends to a game of giant Jenga under the vast open sky. End your night on the cozy daybed, where you can stargaze and marvel at the Milky Way in all its glory or unwind in the saltwater hot tub as the moon rises, casting its silver light over the serene landscape.

-Living Area-
The open living space is designed for comfort and style. Have a movie night on the smart TV with the electric fireplace glowing to help set the vibe, enjoy your favorite vinyl records on the sound system, or unwind with a good book. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, while the half bathroom off the living room adds convenience for your group.

-Kitchen & Dining-
The fully stocked modern kitchen has everything you need to prepare gourmet meals. With stainless steel appliances, ample counter space, and all the essential cookware, you’ll feel right at home. Enjoy meals at the dining table with stunning views, or take your dining experience outside to the large porch and eat on the outdoor couches.

-Bedrooms & Bathrooms-
The primary bedroom features a plush king bed, a smart TV, a large walk-in closet, sliding glass doors to the front patio, and an ensuite bathroom for ultimate privacy. The second bedroom also has a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom, a closet off the bathroom, and a smart TV and private workspace. Each bathroom is equipped with modern fixtures and thoughtful touches to make your stay enjoyable.

-Outdoor Amenities-
Step outside to discover the true magic of Moonlight Mesa. The large covered porch offers a saltwater hot tub, perfect for soaking under the stars, as well as two hanging chairs where you can unwind with a book or a glass of wine. Fire up the gas BBQ for a delicious meal, then gather around the gas fire pit in the conversation area for enjoy sunrises and sunsets. Just off the porch, cool off after a day of adventuring in the cowboy tub soaking pool or relax on the daybed, ideal for stargazing. The backyard also features outdoor games like giant Jenga and hammocks for ultimate relaxation.

Moonlight Mesa is located on the wide-open mesa portion of Joshua Tree, offering stunning mountain views and a sense of seclusion. At night, the desert sky comes alive with stars, creating a magical atmosphere that will leave you in awe. Despite its secluded feel, the house is just a short drive from the Joshua Tree National Park entrance, local shops, and restaurants. Whether you’re here to hike, explore, or simply relax, Moonlight Mesa is the perfect base for your desert adventure.

Guest Access:
The entire property is yours to enjoy! Please note that there is a closet in the kitchen being used for storage for supplies for the rental that is locked to guests.

Other Things to Note:
-Pool and Hot Tub Service-
The cowboy pool and hot tub are serviced TBA, approximately between 11am and 4pm. Please note that these times are estimates and may change slightly due to our technician's busy schedule. He will not approach the house but will go directly through to the backyard.

Cowboy Tub Availability:
The cowboy tub is drained and unavailable for guest use during winter months (November - March) to prevent the filter from freezing and breaking.

-Dogs-
We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation if you are bringing dog(s) and how many, and we will adjust the price accordingly. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed.

-Guided Yoga, Sound Baths, Meditation, Massages & Personal Chefs-
Please reach out to us if you'd like recommendations for yoga instructors, guided sound baths, guided meditation, massages or personal chefs. Often times vendors are available come directly to the house.

-Security Camera-
There is a security camera mounted next to the front door in order to monitor the quantity of people and cars on the property, so we may ensure compliance with local ordinances. There are no security cameras in any private areas of the home.

-Cleaning Fee-
100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our hardworking cleaners.
