Our home is nestled behind downtown Northport's Main Ave in a low traffic, quiet neighborhood besides the occasional visit from the train🚂

We are the historic train house located across the street from the tracks that lead to the famous Roll Tide Bridge downtown. To mitigate noise we have equipped each room with a noise machine however we feel the train is best experienced from the front porch! The train is heard all throughout Tuscaloosa and Northport so you might as well enjoy the best seat in town! (Train experiences vary, sometimes it comes by multiple times per day and sometimes not at all. The noise volume of the train also fluctuates based on speed and operator. There is no set schedule.)

Every aspect of this home has been curated to breathe new life into this storied train house. No need to draw straws on who sleeps where, because every room in the house is its own little sanctuary.

While the home is equipped to sleep 9 people, we think the perfect group size is 5-6. We are happy to host 9 but keep in mind it will be a little cozier.

In addition to the numerous popular restaurants close by we also acknowledge the value of a home cooked meal. That's why our kitchen is fully stocked with all the essentials you'll need to cook for you and your family.
