This property was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The house was updated, clean and very charming. Karl was very responsive he was easy to reach for questions!
My family stayed at the cottage in early November during family weekend at Wesleyan University. While the cottage was a half hour drive to Middletown, it was worth it to have a nice spot to land. Unfortunately we didn't have much time to enjoy the lake but it was too chilly for that anyway!
I can see that the best time would be during the warmer months but it was still lovely and peaceful and the house was well-equipped.
All the instructions were clear and helpful.
There are houses right next door on both sides so not much privacy. Also, note, only one shower (a very nice one!) but if you have a larger group, make sure you factor that in.
The house was clean and well-appointed with plenty of items to use to enjoy the lake. We loved sitting by the fire pit and looking out over the lake and at the stars. Communication with the host was easy. We would stay there again when in the area!
