Relax with the family at this peaceful and lovely cabin perched above Lake Tahoe with spectacular views of the water below. Located on a quiet street in Cedar Flat / Carnelian Bay, this 2 Bedroom plus Loft Area / 2 Bath cabin is the perfect home base for a family or group of friends looking to take in all that Lake Tahoe has to offer! Enjoy peaceful time on the spacious front deck gazing out at the lake or cozy up in front of the living room gas fireplace and read a book or watch a movie.

This cabin sleeps up to 7 guests:
Bedroom 1 - King Bed
This bedroom is on the main level / right side of home and offers a King Bed and windows facing out towards the lake. There is a shared bathroom with a tub / shower combo located just outside the bedroom.
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed
This bedroom is on the upper right side of the house and offers a Queen Bed and in room small pedestal sink / mirror. There is a shared bathroom with a walk-in shower located just outside the bedroom.
Loft Area - Queen Bed & Twin Bed
The loft area is located directly above the kitchen and overlooks the main living room. It offers a Queen Bed and Twin Bed and is a great spillover area for kids or a few additional guests who aren’t seeking maximum privacy. The loft area shares a bathroom with Bedroom 2.

Community quiet hours from 9pm - 8am daily.
No events or parties. This is not a party house and is best suitable for those looking to enjoy a peaceful time in the mountains.
No smoking of vaping.
No commercial photography and / or filming allowed.
There is parking for 1 vehicle in the garage and 3 - 4 additional vehicles on the driveway (the apartment above the garage is not included with the rental). Note that there is no street parking allowed at any Short Term Rental Property (per county ordinance).
No outdoor fires or charcoal bbq’s allowed per county ordinance. On red flag days, no open flame allowed (i.e. no use of propane grill).
Trash must be properly disposed of within metal bear bin alongside driveway. Do not leave any food or beverages in your vehicle as bears will not hesitate to help themselves to your goodies and can cause significant vehicle damage.
Home must be properly secured (doors locked, windows closed / locked / bear fence system activated) whenever not present in the home.
The driveway is on a seasonal plow service, whereas they come once per day when it snows more than 6 inches. They generally follow the road plows and will first clear the berms at the end of the driveway. You’ll need to move your cars so that the plows can access and clear the driveway (which takes less than 5 minutes once cars are out of the way).
There is a “mostly covered” overhang that leads from to the front entry door. During winter months, it’s possible that some snow may accumulate (especially from the driveway to the main house). We do our best to ensure reasonable access to the property, but depending on the timing of your arrival (if during or immediately following a storm), there maybe snow snow that needs shoveling. There are shovels located onsite that can be used by guests, but we recommend that you travel with a shovel during winter conditions.
WINTER ADVISORY: By reserving this house during the winter months (November - April), you acknowledge that you will be traveling into the mountains and that winter storms are common and often unpredictable. The dates that you are choosing to reserve are being held for your group and are therefore unavailable for other groups to reserve. In all cases, our cancellation policy will prevail. There will be no consideration afforded for difficult travel due to winter weather condition. We strongly advise that you pay attention to incoming storms and / or changes in weather patterns in order to help avoid travel delays or disruptions. It is also strongly advised that you travel with a 4WD or AWD vehicle, carry snow chains , and have a shovel that can be used if needed to dig out a stuck vehicle.
