Other things to note

- Look out at the Natural Preserve across the lake from our spot - completely unobstructed views- very quiet but if you want action, you can take a boat to Torch from our place and join the party at the Sand bar or park the boat and eat at Dockside. Fish along the Clam River.

Paddle board and Kayak across to the Grass River Natural Area
Mountain bike or hike Glacial Hills Trails (leaves are amazing in the fall!)
Visit Shanty Creek to Golf on one of their 5 courses or ski in the winter
Rent a pontoon boat from Dewitt Marina (Reserve ahead of time because they get booked up quickly!)
Visit King Orchards to pick fruit and other goodies throughout the summer/fall
Go to Rex beach to search for Petoskey stones - hidden gem-of-a-beach!

Shop in Bellaire and Alden

Bike around the neighborhood - bikes, helmets and pumps are in the garage.
