Get away from it all

Was a great property for a weekend of snow-shoeing. Lots of space and we never saw another person for the time we were there. Close enough to Crystal Mtn and Iron Fish Distillery for food and activities

Relaxing annual visit to Traverse City

We love staying here every year. This is our 3rd year staying at this property. We love that it is on 20 acres in the country conveniently located off 115 within 30 minutes to Traverse City and the national forest. We always spend a day at Great Wolf Lodge at the waterpark and then relax at the cabin for a day. We typically take a nature walk through the property, where this year we saw a deer off the front porch. It is always very clean and the owner always makes sure we are comfortable and find everything we need. I highly recommend the property to anyone looking for a quiet get away near all the area attractions.

Quiet and remote

Property was accurate to listing. Setting is very quiet and peaceful with a nice porch to enjoy good weather. If your into hiking, hunting, ORV's, etc this would probably be an awesome place to stay as there are lots of opportunities for those activities in the area. Unfortunatly my family was looking for more young-kid friendly activities and this cabin was pretty far away from those (not a fault of the caabin, it was my own miscalculation).

Wish we had more time to enjoy

Nice place. Plenty of room, clean, comfortable. We were busy with a family wedding so we didn't have time to explore, or enjoy the fire pit or grill. We did get time to enjoy the large porch and view. Brian was great to work with. This was our first rental using this method and he answered all my questions and made the process easy.

A Wolf Lodge tradition

3 years ago, Helen and I wanted to take our 3 young grandkids to Sleeping Bear Dunes Natl Park for week in the summer. We'd never been there, but it looked like the area would be fun for them. It was! We checked out VRBO for places that suited our criteria: off the beaten path but close enough to anything and everything for day trips; isolated from neighbors; surrounded by nature with lots of room for the kids to run around and play in; a comfortable, rustic dwelling to enjoy when not out and about. The Campell's cabin was perfect! July 2024 was our 3rd consecutive summer. The grandkids feel that the cabin is now theirs! We even hold the Wolf Lodge Family Olympics in the spacious yard every year. Again, you can explore and do multiple things in a day's trip. If any of this sounds good to you, book a week or two at the Campbells. You'll LOVE it!!

Successful cousin weekend

Cousin weekend is always a great time. Brian was very helpful with his correspondence and very polite. The house is perfect for the 4 of us and a rather large puppy. The house is far enough away from neighbors so there is not really anyone to bother. We are definitely planning on next years cousin weekend at The Wolfe Lodge. Thank you Brian for sharing your home with us

My family and i had a wonderful stay here. They have everything you need. When we walked in the door there was snacks and even some treats for our dog. The furniture was very comfy and nice to come back to from a long day. We loved the quietness and all the stars at night. Brian the owner was very kind and checked in by text to make sure everything was going good.

Beautiful, peaceful, and quiet

I needed a few days to rest and recharge. Brian’s cabin was perfect: comfortable, quiet, peaceful, and in such a beautiful setting. There were fun snacks, everything worked well, and best of all I was able to be worry free for a few days! My pup enjoyed running and playing outside. I enjoyed walking viewing the woods and hills. One morning there were 5 deer strolling through the yard - just stunning! Thanks, Brian for sharing your home. It’s a very special place! Highly recommended.

Great house in a beautiful location!

I stayed here with my family for a weekend of skiing at Crystal Mountain and Caberfae Peaks. The location was perfect to go to both, and the house was very comfortable and well maintained. The kitchen had everything we needed and the setting was picturesque. The owner, Brian, was very friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

NYE stay

Checked out today after a great stay at this property. It was clean and cozy. We were grateful there were so many supplies at hand, the property owner checked in multiple times, and our kids and dog enjoyed having the surrounding land to explore. Dinner at Iron Fish one night was great, skiing at Caberfae was fun, and overall we very much enjoyed a few days away together. Grateful for the memories!
