House was perfectly clean and beautiful on arrival. Check in had a small hiccup, but Kim resolved it promptly. We had an amazing time around the cape this week, and Onset is such a nice little beach hamlet! We all loved it. Check-out was a breeze. No ridiculous demands about chores like some rentals have. Overall a great place to stay. Thank you!
We absolutely loved the house and waterfront property! My family had a great vacation and enjoyed the local sites and activities as basically everything we wanted to do was just a short drive away.
Awesome time was had by all!
The view was awesome loved the fact that we were able to spend all the time in the water fishing shell fishing ect in the surrounding areas would love to go next year
Incredible views from inside and outside the House
The house was perfect and had everything we needed to make some big meals and to seat a number of people between the indoor and outdoor dining spaces! The beds were comfortable as were the linens. The couches were really comfortable as well. The owner was amazing and very responsive to all our questions, and I had a few, lol. The only thing that could have made it better is if they had had space to park our trailer (we found a secure place about 15 minutes away), and a hose down at the dock to rinse off the boat after coming in from a day of fishing. Salt water can do a number on your equipment. Also, the kayak did not have a seat, otherwise I might have used that. The location of the house was great for going out fishing. I caught two striper fish, but my daughter caught the biggest one, almost 50 pounds! So fun…
The house was clean and comfortable. No traffic and the yard was great for the kids. Everyone enjoyed the beachfront and the dock that is in excellent condition. Easy access for paddle boarding, kayaking, etc. There is about 2.5 feet of water at the end of the dock at low tide and about 8 feet at high tide.
A long-needed family vacation with our young adult sons before they depart for college. It had everything we needed. Water activities at our door, beautiful view, well equipped kitchen, sleeps 9, bath and half. Plenty of restaurants in driving distance and a 1.5 mile walk to the village of Onset. In Onset you can take a dinner cruise or fishing charter or stay on land and buy dinner or ice cream. But there is enough to do at the house so thst you dont need to go anywhere.
This location has been a wonderful tradition for our family for six years now! It's perfect for all ages and people can relax in the way they choose. We hope to return again soon!
Absolutely amazing stay. We had a family reunion with family coming from overseas and the west coast and it was the perfect location to relax and explore Cape Cod. The house was clean. The downstairs area and deck were spacious. The bedrooms were small however the beds very comfortable (bedsides you’re not gonna stay there except to sleep anyways). The view, backyard, and bay were incredible. There were children’s toys, a canoe, clamming equipment. We were able to catch our own clams in the water right in front of the house. The hosts were kind and responsive. Would absolutely come back again. Of note, Wareham isn’t technically on the cape, however we had great day trips to Provincetown and Chatham.
This is a great property. It has a nice view of the bay and close to the canal. We were visiting with family and it was the perfect place to spend time together, It is in a quiet and secluded neighborhood . We had a great time!
Arriving two weeks ago, my family of firefighters and a nurse where able to breath completely and total relax. This time was an opportunity to escape from all the pressure of our times and enjoy clean fresh air morning, noon and night. They kayaked during the day and played dominos at night. Thank you for sharing your beautiful retreat with us.
We had an amazing time during our stay here! The kids loved fishing off the dock and swimming during both low/high tide. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful! There’s plenty of things to do (bowling, arcade, mini golf, antiquing). Everything we needed was conveniently located within 15 minutes of the property. There was plenty of space for our group of 9. Thank you so much for having us, we’ll definitely be booking again!
We had an amazing time at this property! We stayed the week of July 4th and were lucky enough to start off with front row seats to a private fireworks show from all the neighbors. The kids loved playing in the water, catching crabs, and fishing from the dock. I will never forget my 8 year old son reeling in his first striper or kayaking with my 5 year old daughter to what we called treasure island across the way! Kim was very responsive to the few questions I had and the place was perfect! We will definitely be back next summer.
Many thanks for promptly answering all our questions! Everybody in my family enjoyed the stay! We got to do so much right outside the house. My 10-year old daughter particularly asked me to thank Kim and Kevin for everything they prepared for our stay. She loved kayaking and paddle boarding. On our last day, my father-in-law was able to catch a fish from the dock which was a perfect ending for this short summer vacation!
We had a wonderful week! So relaxing and a beautiful property!! We enjoyed crabbing from the dock! Thankful for comfortable beds and couches! Appreciated the quality linens and paper products!! Thank you Kim for sharing your wonderful home! We can’t wait to book another stay!!

My husband and I bought this house right before we got married. We were both raised in Massachusetts. My husband Kevin has been fishing his whole life and can tell you almost anything you need to know about fishing and boating in the area. I am a process engineer in the biotechnology field and he is a pipe fitter with the Boston Local, we met at work. We bought this house together so that we could have a stay-cation home and it has been delightful so far. Any questions feel free to ask.
Why they chose this property
This property has a great view of Butler cove and is close to the town center. It has an extra spot on the dock for a boat if required and is very close to a boat ramp. The dock is in shallow water at low tide but there is deep water access from the dock with no bridges in the way. The canal is walking / driving distance from the property for day or night time strolls or fishing. The cove is good place for swimming or getting clams. The deck has full sun exposure and the sunrise and sunset are both visible from the property. Bench seating at the end of the dock is a great place to enjoy the view while socializing.
What makes this property unique
A variety of fish can be caught off the dock.
