Villa M is a 1 bedroom apartment in the White Sands Beach Apartments. This apartment building is located on the beach at the St Lawrence Gap, which is one of the most popular resorts in Barbados. Villa M is a one bedroom apartment on the second floor and has a west facing aspect from which to enjoy golden sunsets. This apartment is finished to a high standard, utilising cedar windows and doors and ceramic floor tiles throughout. The accommodation comprises bedroom, en-suite bathroom, further shower room and wc, fully fitted quality kitchen, sitting room and dining terrace. All furnished to a high standard with, mostly, period furniture brought from England by the owners. The dining Terrance features modern resin/rattan furniture, especially imported from the manufactures in India. This comprises dining table and four chairs and two luxury loungers.

Very mixed
After a long haul flight when you finally get to the property the one thing you don't want to see is surprise on the face of the property manager when you introduce yourself. We weren't expected and so the apartment hadn't been cleaned from the previous renters. We had to bide our time for an hour before we could access the apartment. When we came to leave the managers office was closed as it was a Saturday but we hadn't been advised on what to do at check out. All in all not a great experience.

Great holiday
We were extremely happy with the property, the location was perfect being right next to the beach, with other beaches just minutes away. The property had all the amenities needed and the view from the balcony was spectacular. Cyrus the site manager was helpful from start to finish.

Wonderful Stay!
My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this immaculate condo which offered us both a great location and plenty of room to relax. The owner was excellent about communication and one of the building manager's Gabrielle was ready to greet us upon our arrival. She was very helpful in touring us around the building and our particular villa. Both Liam and Cyrus who are also part of the management team were also responsive to any questions we asked and supplying us with beach towels. One could not expect any better service from the entire group. The villas location in the back of the building still offered a nice view of the beach from its large terrace. The kitchen was well-supplied, the two bathrooms were useful, and the bed was very comfortable. The building is an easy walk to a convenience store, coffee shop, and many excellent restaurants in the Gap, especially Cocktail Kitchen. The nearly private beach out front was gorgeous. Simply a beautiful place to sit under a palm tree in one of the building's beach loungers. We appreciate Vanessa for letting us stay at her wonderful condo and look forward to returning.

The apartment was perfect with Sylas ,the manager , showing us around and making us feel at home .
Fourth visit to Barbados on the other occasions staying in Enterprise but this time we fancied being closer to restaurants and bars.Laurence Gap is a great for that and this apartment was spot on.Great place to stay ,never used the living room, just to walk threw , or the TV as we spent most of the time on the great sized balcony ,great sundowns .Everything we needed was within walking distance but we did have a car for 3 days just to see Miami beach ,our favourite ,and Brown's Beach to swim with the turtles ,a must if you've got a snorkel and under water camera .If you go to Miami beach there's a great calm little lagoon at the end of the beach the other side of the lifeguards hut when the main beach is a bit rough .Would definitely come back here to this apartment .

Absolutely the Best!
I have stayed at several locations in Barbados over the past few years, but this condo was the best hands down!! Vanessa was easy to work with. Cyrus, the on-site manager, is absolutely the best. He made sure I was taken care of the whole trip. Words can't even describe how amazing Cyrus is. The beach front was amazing. The condo is clean. Although it's one bedroom, it has two bathrooms. So this would be perfect for a couple or group of friends. It's up the street from the ever so popping Gap, but far out that you don't hear any of the music. I will definitely being staying here again.

We couldn’t have been happier with our accommodations at White Sands Beach Villas. From start to finish, we were impressed with everything about our stay. Cyrus was very professional and attentive to our needs from excellent referrals to advice about restaurants and attractions, to help with the TV. The security is top notch. The amenities met our every need. We loved the spaciousness of the condo, as well as the floor plan. It was very quiet except for some strange beeping noises at night from Turtle Bay resort next door, but we got used to it after a while. The location is within walking distance of many restaurants of all price ranges. The beach is just lovely and very clean and private. They have really thought of everything from plenty of coat hangers, a hair dryer for each bath, beach towels-there was not a thing we needed that wasn’t provided. We would stay here again if ever back in Barbados.

Home away from home!! This beautiful well apointed condo has all you need and more!
My husband and I want to thank Vanessa and Alan for allowing us to share in their wonderful dream home away from home. We were greeted with warmth and expertise upon arrival, introduced to our new surroundings and within minutes we were on the beach relishing in the beautiful sunshine and island culture. The condo has all that is needed for your stay... warm decor, all amenities that one can imagine, easy access to restaurants, shopping and entertainment, convenience store across the street and a grocery store within a 20 minute walk or 10 min bus ride. Perfection!!!
I would like to start my review by thanking Alan and Vanessa for being a pleasure to deal with from the beginning. You have been so helpful, always responded quickly with any questions, and made the process so easy for us. Onto the villa. What can I say, it is absolutely perfect!! The moment we arrived, we were greeted by Cyrus who gave us a tour of the property and all of the features and amenities of the villa. It is a very safe building and I found it to be very quiet. The villa has everything you could need, it was like a home away from home. The huge balcony was great for relaxing and having meals, the bedroom was very nice with plenty of linens, and overall just a lovely place. The villa is situated in a perfect location, as there are many restaurants, bars, & beaches all within walking distance. I'm sure there are things that I am forgetting to mention, but this place truly deserves a 5 Star Rating!! I cannot thank Alan and Vanessa enough. Amazing in every way!
My daughter and I recently stayed in Vanessa and Alan's AMAZING condo. We go to Barbados every year and this is the first time we have stayed near St. Lawrence Gap. I wish we had sooner! We had to book last minute and everything went off without a hitch. Vanessa and Alan hooked us up with the Gabriele and Cyrus the property managers and everything fell into place. We were met on arrive at the building by Cyrus and were taken to our Villa and shown around and how to use all the appliance, etc The listing and the pictures for this condo were very accurate. The unit was in immaculate condition and very nicely decorated and well appointed with homewares/crockery/bed linens and towels. The quality of all the items were excellent. The entire condo property is well maintained with very attractive trees, plants and flowers. A security guard monitored the premises. The pool area is lovely and the small well shaded beach with palm trees was like paradise. We arranged with the grounds maintenance/keeper chap to have our beach loungers brought out to the beach every morning and put away at the end of the day. He was extremely reliable and friendly, the chairs were out on the beach nice and early to accommodate 2 early birds. The location of the building is great. We were in walking distance to many wonderful eateries (both casual and formal). The locals at Scoupy's Jazz bar were were friendly/informative and great Bajan fish cakes . There was a well stocked convenience store very close by also. We have absolutely no complaints about this villa, building or the owners/staff. We received excellent customer service all around. I would recommend this unit to to all my family and friends (and strangers for that matter). I look forward to a future stay at Vanessa and Alan's villa.

Perfect!
Although we are regular visitors to Barbados, this was the first time we have chosen to stay in a condo rather than a hotel. The booking process was easy. Vanessa and Alan were extremely helpful and we were fortunate enough to meet them in person as they were on the island at the same time as we were. The apartment lacks for nothing. Our hosts had thought of everything ... from kitchen roll to Scrabble and everything in between. There is plenty of high quality bedlinen, towels (including those for the beach) and kitchen equipment. There is a super little beach immediately in front of the building. Parasols are not needed as there is sufficient shade from palm trees. The property is discreetly managed by Gaby and Cyrus. All the staff who service the condos were efficient and delightful. We would single out Reena who cleaned our apartment and Paul, the handyman/gardener for special mention. We are looking forward to returning next year.

Great location- everything within walking distance
We loved this place and it's location. Many fine and casual restaurants within walking distance. We were please to find nightly entertainment (Scoopies) a short stroll away. During our one week stay we only rented a car for 2 days which was perfect. Since our visit included the Christmas holidays we gave Alan and Vanessa a list of breakfast items we wished to have stocked in the fridge. We were pleased to see all the items stocked which help make our Christmas breakfast wonderful. Our friends rented another one bedroom unit within the White Sands Beach Resort that was also lovely but we truly preferred our balcony which had a very comfortable table and chairs, perfect for breakfast or cocktails with our friends. The owners, Alan and Vanessa were great and always quickly responded to any questions we might have. Once we made our deposit they sent a very thorough printout of information on the island that included many restaurants and activities to enjoy. We used their references many times throughout our stay. The queen sized bed was very comfortable. Towels and bed linens were generous and high quality. The unit also had a safe which was very handy for storing our valuables. When we arrived Christmas Eve we were met by Cyrus (always available condo manager) who was also hosting a Christmas celebration for the guests. It was a perfect way to begin our vacation:)

Absolutely Fantastic Villa that has everything
We can't compliment you enough on your lovely Villa It was absolutely perfect from the beautiful location right down to having everything ( even a flask ) in the villa It truly made our holiday staying there. We saw lots of baby turtles hatching most nights also the mum coming on the beach to lay her eggs right by Tyrones Bar was amazing !! Still feeling a bit tired after the travelling but we had a lovely chill out time there. Thank you so much for letting us stay in your beautiful villa it's everything you say if not more. Will be recommending to everyone who will listen

Peaceful bit of paradise in The Gap
Having normally just holidayed on the west coast of Barbados in the past,we decided to spend 5 days at the Gap as well this time and chose to stay at Alan and Vanessas villa. I can only say that this villa is everything described and more! As it is the owners second home you will want for nothing there as it is superbly equipped for every need. It is clean comfortable and very peaceful. We had friends over for the day whilst there so the second bathroom was a big plus and so were all the piles of extra towels and beach towels! The input and info from the owners from the first enquiry onwards was first class. Also a big plus for us was that the villa is superbly managed by an onsite manager and security there was second to none! The Gap being so different from the west coast it was nice to get back to a peaceful location but still only have a 15min walk back to the villa. After having eaten at The Lone Star and The Beach House etc. we can honestly say the food was far better in The Gap - Harlequin and Pisces being top notch! If you book this villa you will not have a worry in the world and will be so spoilt-it is just there to be enjoyed. Our very grateful thanks to Alan and Vanessa for letting us stay there.

Paradise!!
We stayed at Villa M - White Sands Beach Villas for our 10 day honeymoon in March 2012. Both the Villa and the surrounding areas were perfect and everything we could have wished for from our holiday accommodation. The Villa itself was clean and tidy with top appliances and provided plenty of living space for us - it really was a home away from home! The surrounding areas of the underground car park, pool area/ gardens and the main lobby were also perfectly maintained and the staff on hand at WSB Villas were also extremely friendly and welcoming and helped us out with any enquiries throughout our stay. The sandy beach at the front of the property was amazing and one of nicest looking beaches we found throughout the island. It was always very quiet and at low tide we were able to walk around to the busier Dover Beach with a host of water-sports on offer as well as bars and stalls. Alan and Vanessa were a pleasure to deal with throughout the whole process. They were prompt to respond to our initial enquiries and got straight back to us to confirm any payments we made and provided us with a receipt. We were also given detailed information on their property and the local area including things to do and see on the island and recommendations on restaurants from previous guests. We found these most helpful they and enabled us to get the most out stay especially having never been to Barbados before. Overall our stay at Villa M was amazing thanks to the information provided by Alan and Vanessa and their wonderful property. We would highly recommend this property and the local area of St Lawrence Gap.

A stunning villa in a superb location
The White Sands Beach Villa provides high quality accommodation & that quality is evident as soon as you enter the reception area. It feels very welcoming & were greeted by Gabrielle who showed us round & explained everything we needed. After a long days travelling we very quickly felt relaxed & ready to enjoy our week ahead. Alan & Vanessa were excellent right from the initial booking & provided all the details we needed prior to arrival. A real pleasure to deal with. We knew the 'Gap' area well as we have been three times previously to hotels but this time wanted to go independent. The villa has everything one could wish for. It really was home from home with everything we needed & with a location close to local shops & restaurants & the quiet beach just outside the door what more could we ask. For us we wanted a relaxing week in the sun on a nice beach in quality accommodation in a quiet location & we found everything we were looking for. The locals are great people, always willing to chat & the service in the restaurants is very good with a variety, types & price ranges to suit all pockets. I would highly recommend Barbados & especially the 'Gap' area & most definetly white sands villas. Recommended for: age 50+, without a car & looking for a romantic getaway in a quiet location. Would I recommend to a friend: already have Would I go back: already booked for next February

What a Wonderful and Charming Property!
My partner and I stayed in Villa M of the White Sands apartments for 2 nights in February, after an adhoc extension to our holiday. We were very glad that the owners (Alan and Vanessa) were able to accommodate us with such short notice, with such friendly and efficient service! First of all the the apartment are located on St Lawrance Gap, which is makes it ideally situated for all the local amenities and the beautiful idyllic beach. Being in the heart of the Gap, one would expect there to be a certain amount of ambient noise at night, but I can honestly say that this is not so! Many an hour we stood at the balcony absorbing the beautiful scenery totally undisturbed! The apartment is beautiful and tastefully furnished with an array of Georgian furniture, and really adds to the romantic feel to the place. Having stayed in a range of properties on the island, this apartment has a real boutique feel to it. The kitchen is very modern, and has beautiful SMEG appliances, which were an absolute joy to use! Alan and Vanessa have thought of everything one would need to use on a self catering holiday and were not wanting for anything. The bedroom is tastefully furnished, and feels very romantic...the bed is the most comfortable that I have slept in for a while, as a confirmed insomniac that is saying something! There are two lovely bathrooms to use, and all towels are provided. The balcony is the crowning glory of the apartments, with a beautiful view and the wonderful furniture. As I said before we had spent many an hour just relaxing on the balcony just watching the world go by. Gabriel who manages the apartment is so unbelievably helpful, and I can't thank her enough for all her help and local knowledge, which really helped to make a fantastic stay even better! Thank you Alan and Vanessa for a fabulous couple of days, and we look forward to returning but staying for much longer next time.

Fantastic place
We had a wonderful short break in this beautiful apartment. It is very well kitted out with everything you should need. The quality of everything was exceptional. The bed is one of the best we have ever slept in-real cotton sheets too!!There is now a hairdryer. The allocation is perfect. We were able to walk everywhere necessary. The shop across the road has most things. We had lunch from Scotties (below apartments) and took it on the beach. You have to queue from 12.30pm as its where the locals go, but it is a very efficient,very local takeaway.The bar on the beach was a hub bub of people at sundown. We got a taxi (easy) to Oistins on the Friday night. We loved the reataurants, Davids place and Harlequin-both walkable. We were able also able to get a bus to Bridgetown. The security system for the aprtments is very good without being intrusive,We felt totally safe at all times in The Gap. What wonderful people. I cannot recommend this lovely place highly enough.

Caribbean WOW Factor
White Sands is just about the most perfect Getaway, chill-out & relax that we could have imagined. It sits on a very quiet beach fronting the sea & the first impression was of a much cared-for and personal appartment, tastefully filled with antique furniture and every imaginable extra you'd need. The veranda, although not itself giving directly onto the sea - though it did have an excellent view of it - was a perfect sundowner spot where we could watch the green monkeys gamboling in the field, hand feed the birds who came most mornings and listen to the waves. There was no background sound to interrupt the peace.The in-house manageress was superbly efficient and very helpful and the ever-present Melvyn saw to it that our deck chairs were positioned in the most attractive cool nooks on the white sandy beach. Everyone around was friendly and had anecdotes to tell - all positive. We were very sad to leave after a three week idyllic break which was over all too quickly. Hats off to the owners for making it so!
