Magical Cottage
We had a wonderful time staying in this magical cottage. It was lovely and cosy. The kitchen was equipped with everything you would need and more. One of the windows from the kitchen looks over the lovely natural wild garden and it was lovely being able to sit in the garden in the evenings, watching the birds and other wildlife. The cottage and the surrounding area was lovely and quite. Trevor our host, was very helpful and responded to any questions we had very quickly, which was a massive help. The cottage is also five minutes walk to The Glen (Pittencrieff Park), which is a beautiful park. The rail station is a 30 minute walk and the bus station is around a 10 minute walk from the Cottage. We would definitely come back and stay at this magical cottage.

A very comfortable and charming cottage, which has everything that you will need.
Had a really lovely stay, the cottage in really close to Dunfermline centre and the Glen, so everything this was close to hand and at easy reach. The cottage was very comfortable and welcoming, with free wifi, which we took advantage off. I found everything was very clean with fresh towels all folded and waiting for us on our arrival. The weather was fortunately really nice on our weeks stay which made our holiday perfect. I would recommend staying in this cottage to anyone that is visiting/staying in Dunfermline. Nice place, nice location
Very comfortable house in a great location in easy walking distance to town centre and beautiful park. Stayed nice and warm throughout a very cold two months. We would recommend it even for a short stay and would definitely rent it again if the occasion arises.

Drei Sterne
So ähnlich wohnten meine Großeltern.

Cozy Cottage
The cottage was well equipped for our family of five. We enjoyed our stay in Scotland and it was a pleasant place to rest our heads at the end of a busy day of exploring.

Lovely cosy cottage, great holiday
The cottage had lots of character and was ideally located for everything. Next time we'll bring the grandchilden as the playpark just a few minutes walk from the cottage is fantastic. It was great being able to stroll around the wooded walks in the Glen and go for a meal out at night without having to take the car. So many places to visit in and around Dunfermline, a week just isn't long enough.

Abtauchen in romantische Gefilde
Unser vierter Schottland Urlaub.

Why they chose this property

Great location in quiet friendly street close to historic town centre, cafes, restaurants, museums, theatres, bus station, parkland, open countryside and food shops open until 11.00pm. Very central for visiting places of interest in Fife, Edinburgh and Stirling.

What makes this property unique

Unlike most so-called traditional cottages this property has not been gutted, plasterboarded, and pvc'd so that little more than the stone walls remain. Virtually all of the woodwork is original 1890's which helps to maintain the old world atmosphere.
