**Hurricane Milton Update**

While Hurricane Milton affected the area on October 9th, we were fortunate to experience no direct impact. We understand that the condition of the island and the availability of restaurants, shops, and amenities are an important part of your vacation experience. That’s why we aim to provide you with the most current, transparent information available.

Sweet BLou is a beautifully renovated, brand-new condo designed to give you everything you need to enjoy your stay. It’s within walking distance of the beach as well as reopened local favorites like the Provision Store, RC Otters, Green Flash, Captiva Pizza, The Beach Store, and The Island Store. Betty Boop’s has already reopened, and the Bubble Room should be ready by the beginning of 2025. A bit further but still accessible by foot or a short golf cart ride, The Shipyard, Crow’s Nest, and Old Captiva House are also open. Mucky Ducks may remain closed, though we’ve heard they’re working to reopen. Nearby Rosalita’s is open and just a short drive away, while Sanibel offers additional dining options. A popular recommendation is the Lady Chadwick boat tour to Cabbage Key and/or Useppa, which is also back in operation.

The beach is open as well our amenities! This includes the pool, the grill, the washer & dryer, and the pickle ball/tennis court. However, the elevator may still be under repair due to ongoing permit and parts processes. Please check in with us on any updates regarding the elevator.

What we love about this residence — This condo is one of just a few with a sunset facing exposure, allowing guests to catch the world famous Captiva sunsets from the comfort of their upscale residence. Crisp, cool, breezes from the comfort of your lanai as you sip coffee in the morning. Relax and take much needed naps in any of the three Posturepedic mattresses after a long day at the beach. Take advantage of community gas grills to achieve those perfect grill marks on your catch of the day after fishing with one of the many guides out of Bayside Marina. Catch up on Netflix on any of the 50``+ HD televisions in the unit, for those lazy days in the condo. Rise in the morning and grab a coffee from the Starbucks located less than 1000 feet from the condo or take a short 10-minute walk to the Village of Captiva. The beach is only a 5-minute stroll down the boardwalk from the condo.

The layout of the unit is open and view-conscious, in that almost every corner of the living room, kitchen, and dining area boast fantastic beach and Gulf of Mexico views. The living room features brand new furniture including a queen sleeper sofa, two comfy armchairs, and a smart TV. The dining area features service for up to four guests with an additional service for four guests at the breakfast bar of the kitchen. The fully equipped kitchen includes all of the cookware one would require to prepare even the most gourmet of meals during their trip. It also features a full sized appliance package. There are high end small appliances including blender, toaster, coffee maker, and more. The lanai faces the Gulf of Mexico and beach and features a four top table that can be used for dining.

The bedrooms are equipped as follows — Master bedroom includes a king bed with en-suite bathroom and walk in shower. The guest bedroom includes two twin beds with a hallway bathroom and shower/tub combo. Both bedrooms have flatscreen smart TVs.

This condo comes with lots of beach equipment! It includes 4 beach chairs, a sun umbrella, 6 beach towels, a cooler and kid’s toys for the beach which you will find stored in the condo! The condo also provides pickle ball equipment for the pickle ball court in front of the building. Perfect for a fun vacation full of activities!

You will have access to the entire condo, heated pool, boardwalk to the beach, outdoor shower, community grills, community laundry facilities, and tennis and pickleball courts located directly in front of the unit. The hotel pool and restaurants located on the other side of South Seas are for hotel guests only. The hotel also provides chair and towel service. This service is for guests of the hotel only. This condo is individually owned. There is a pool and of course, the beach located right in front of the condo for your use as well as towels, chairs and umbrellas in the unit for your use.

We will provide a welcome guide which includes all of the information about the property to make your stay a breeze. The welcome guide will also provide helpful information about the area!

You will check in using a smart lock which we provide a password to before your stay. In the unfortunate case that something goes wrong or if you need anything we are on the islands and are just a quick phone call away.
