My wife and I have stayed in several rental properties across the country, including 4 in Lancaster. The listing stated 3 bedrooms and 2 baths. All but one of the bedrooms were absolutely freezing. The thermostat did not work. The 1 bedroom provided heat but we couldnt control the temperature because the thermostat didnt work. So we had to borrow blankets from a relative. The bedroom blinds were broken. The bathroom in the house (not the "garage bathroom") has a window that doesnt lock. Of the 4 wall mounted tvs only 2 worked. The other 2 displayed a no signal message all week. It was clear the owner/agent/Donna put zero effort into making the property feel welcoming. There were cracked tile floors, sloppy painting, an old steel chair at a desk, crumbs and detritus in the kitchen cabinets, dead bugs on the floor. There wasnt a welcome book in the home and the alleged link to the digital book would not open, although the owner/agent repetedly said it did open. The main bathroom was fine except for the window that didnt lock. After trying to reach the owner or agent several times re the location of the 2d bathroom i was finally told that the 2d bathroom is in the garage and the Donna had the temerity to ask why we needed a 2d bathroom since there were only 2 of us. I chose the rental in large part because the listing included 2 bathrooms. The w/d was in the garage in the 2d bathroom. A sign on the door to the garage read guests don’t enter. Do not stay here.
