Incredible spacious family friendly getaway
Conveniently located 90 minutes away from NYC, this spacious getaway awaits in historical Hopewell Junction. This is the perfect point to explore upstate New York and enjoy apple picking, wineries, hiking, thrift stores, and fresh air. This phenomenal property has a magical, peaceful feel and is great for families. Reconnect with each other in the open living spaces, play available board games or dive into the library with classics, fiction and nonfiction books for all ages. There are no fixed televisions in this house as we strive to support digital and screen detoxing. However, there is wifi available should you choose to use your own devices. There is also a drop down projector. Take a walk through the acre, or walk around the peaceful neighborhood. Reset yourselves. Plenty of fun awaits in this comfortable space!

This special property is our home away from home. It's not a hotel! We are delighted to share our space with respectful guests and provide a getaway for those who want to reconnect with themselves and their loved ones, or just want to enjoy nature while exploring the beautiful Hudson Valley and beyond. Our family enjoys playing in the expansive backyard, board games, reading books, listening to music, and cooking in the roomy kitchen.
Why they chose this property
The neighborhood is conveniently located. It is far enough but not too far away from the City, and is a great point to visit more lovely areas further upstate such as Poughkeepsie, New Paltz, Albany, and beyond. The houses in the area have unique architecture with enough space between to offer more privacy.
What makes this property unique
Our home has a unique design and layout. The rooms are roomy, the vibe is a mix of grand lodge in a modernism meets postmodernism way.
