Talkeetna Eastside Cabin is a family owned business with 5 different units available to rent. Two are Yurts, 1 Cabin, The Nook -small townhouse, The Suite, larger townhouse. Our campus is located in a quiet, wooded neighborhood only 4 blocks from downtown Talkeetna and all the activities.
The Nook is a sunlit unit nestled in a quiet wooded neighborhood. It has a cozy sleeping nook - 1Q, that is off the living area - privacy curtain. It is a favorite for kids. The upstairs loft has 1Q and 1F. The downstairs has a kitchen/living room and bathroom. There is a sauna, bbq grill, fire pit, pavilion available to share with other guests on the campus.

The Nook is approx. 600 sq. ft.

Perfect for our Large Family Group
Our large family group (of 14) stayed in four of the rental units at Talkeetna Eastside Cabins. The kids enjoyed being in their own cozy, unique places. All of the units were clean and pleasantly better than advertised. If we are ever in the Talkeetna area again, regardless of the group size, we will return here.

Worked well for us!
Only stayed one night (which was planned). Smaller Than expected but still worked fine. Listed as sleeps 6, which is accurate, but to get everyone together in an inside area for conversation would have been crowded. Fine for 4 people, which is what we had.

Cozy night in The Nook
My parents, two kids, and I stayed in the Nook for one night in July. It was the perfect size for our group for one night. The adults slept upstairs and the kids shared the nook bed, which they thought was awesome. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfy, and the town of Talkeetna is minutes away! Would definitely stay here again if we're ever lucky enough to visit the area again! Great stay!

Adorable and cozy
This was a large downstairs with a little nook bedroom and a loft area with two beds. We loved it. There was a full book with all the fun of Talkeetna had to offer plus that awesome bear shortcut to town. Loved, loved, loved it But ..If you can't sleep with noise, snorers beware. You hear them... But I felt it just added to the charm. Would definitely book again!

A Good Stay in Talkeetna
The Nook was a good place to stay for a night in Talkeetna. The bed was comfortable and the property was interesting...we might have used the fire circle if we had planned a longer stay.

Very peaceful place
The layout of the property, with the other buildings was spacious and the trees. The nook in the main room is what I was looking much forward to. That was so cozy and comfy! The whole unit was great and two beds upstairs. Their were two girls helping around the property and helped us with the bbq and chairs, thank-you! Wish we got your names. Would love to stay there again!

Great place in Talkeetna
Great place to stay in Talkeetna! Property is well taken care of, our unit was clean and well-equipped, had no noise from other guests, and the owners were very prompt with communications (we had a few). If you don't have a car then be prepared to walk a few blocks to town. There's a shortcut "bear trail" but you need waterproof shoes/boots if it's been rainy like it was for us.

Talkeetna is a great town far enough away from the hustle an bustle of the big towns but still close enough if you have to run into town for things . There’s so much to see an do there with all the tours an you can also just set out on your own hikes an self guided trips to your own destinations of choice. Possibility’s are endless when you come to a paradise like this
