This quaint, cozy hard sided yurt (listed as studio) with bohemian decor sits atop a cedar deck overlooking the wooded, natural, yard area. There is a futon for extra guests, kitchenette/microwave, small refrig., coffee pot, free wifi and smart t.v. The bathroom with shower/washer and dryer is one step on to the outside deck and into the separate bathroom area. Your bathroom is private.There is a picnic table, a bbq grill, and private sauna. Firepit pavilion next to your unit. We have 5 different rentals on our little campus, 2 townhouses, 2 yurts and 1 cabin. Check out our website for availability . We welcome family gatherings.

Perfect for Our Large Family Group
Our large family group (of 4) stayed in four of the rental units at Talkeetna Eastside Cabins. The kids enjoyed being in their own cozy, unique places. All of the units were clean and pleasantly better than advertised. If we are ever in the Talkeetna area again, regardless of the group size, we will return here.

Beautiful, clean, convenient and super easy. Great location. you can walk to downtown talkertna or drive three minutes. The yurt was beautiful, clean, and warm. check in was seamless.

The best ever
Great greeting/hospitality by staff. Setting is spectacular! So clean and thoughtfully equipped and decorated. Every little touch, curtains & art, created such a relaxing beautiful "time-out." We were only there one night but the good memories will live on.

A fun experience!
My husband and I really enjoyed this property. The parking was right in front of the building, which made loading and unloading easy. The room was clean and we especially loved the sky light. It was so quiet we could head the rain hitting the roof and then see it slide down the glass - magical!

Property is located centrally and walking distance from downtown Talkeetna. It is small but we knew what we signed up for and was perfect for 2 nights. The restroom is not attached but i knew it based on other people reviews. They were clean though. We had a lot of luggage and I will say it is not appropriate for that much luggage as it becomes tight. We walked to downtown Talkeetna every day multiple times. The property manager was very helpful as we were dealing with uncertainty about our forward travel to Denali due to fire at Denali.

The Yurt had everything we needed for an Alaskan adventure to TKA. An easy walk to town, but tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. The sauna was a great way to warm up after a cold, rainy trip down the Susitna.

A bit of a mix up unfortunately. Arrived at the property to find bed unmade and the place hadn’t been cleaned. Rang owner who apologised and said it was her error. She gave us upgraded accommodation nearby at no extra charge. We were very happy and enjoyed our short stay. Very clean. Everything we needed.

We were in town for a bike race in Talkeetna. Great location (minutes from Main Street), and the yurt was perfect! Would stay here again.

A sleepover in a yurt? Yes please!
This stay was so fun, I'd never stayed in a yurt before and this space was so unique and so charming. The bathroom being disconnected might feel like an annoyance until you are there and realize that it is one step out the door and provides more privacy this way. Access to downtown was super easy to drive when it was raining and to walk when it was nicer out. We didn't have a chance to use the sauna or fire pit but they both look amazing and we'll definitely use them next time we book this special place.

So cute, comfortable, and cozy. Love the decor, the ceiling light and the cover for it. The hosts are hospitable, answered questions about the location and places to go on a moment’s notice. I’d come back here again!!

When we saw this little yurt, it looked like a cute place to stay, and per the description, looked like it had everything we needed. On the plus side, it had a large, super comfortable bed, adequate bathroom, laundry and excellent wifi. Things that could have used improvement from our experience: Stated it had a gas grill. We stopped and got groceries, so we could cook, and save some $$. We arrived. No grill in sight. When the owner decided to return our call, she stated it was across the street, behind some other units she owned. It rained most of the time we were there, so super inconvenient. We ended up not using the grill at all. The provided "kitchen" was poorly stocked, super small fridge, with tiny freezer that did not freeze. Minimal outlets provided, so had to unplug the coffee pot to have a space to plug in electric frying pan, and had to use the top of the fridge for counter space. had to unplug all of that, to plug in CPAP, and use top of fridge for nightstand. The bathroom was adequate and warm with plenty of towels. However, is attached to the unit, but you had to go outside on the deck and go about 2-3 steps to the bathroom. The deck was wet, and slightly slippery, so had to make sure you dressed and put shoes on to go to the bathroom. Had ROKU tv, which was nice. Since we were there during 22 hours of daylight, a better covering for the skylight, would have been appreciated. We went to sleep feeling like we had a spotlight on us. Overall, B-

Lovely Alaskan Space
The round house was a well appointed space for us as we explored the fabulous town of Talkeetna. Comfortable, warm, and a short walk to downtown. Would definitely recommend!
