About the host
Hosted by Brenda Burgos
I'm a mom of 5 and a transplant to VA. I came down here for college from NH and decided to stay. I do miss the winters of NH but love the rolling hills and people of VA. My husband and I thought it would be fun to have short term rental transporting others to the 1970s @ Retro Ridge in Stanley, VA . We're now excited to open The Blue Rooster, on our side of the Blue Ridge in Madison. I really enjoy hosting and look forward to making every experience a great one.
Why they chose this property
The Blue Rooster is nestled in a wooded subdivision at the end of a road at the foothills of the Blue Ridge. With 4 acres you can have a little hiking adventure right on the property and the community lake is just down a short hill. We are working on clearing an area down to the Garth Run River where guests will eventually be able to picnic and even camp by the water.
What makes this property unique
The Blue Rooster has a country feel with antiques spread throughout. I've always loved antiques and look for items not typically used anymore to display.
