Ponderosa and Bristlecone are mirror-image private homes, sun-drenched, expansive, and warmly appointed. Each home boasts 360º mountain and canyon views, tall ceilings with corbels and latillas, brick entryways, and radiant-heated tile floors. Oversized windows with sliding doors, a sky-lit staircase, and custom woodwork and cabinetry throughout enhance the homes’ unique character.

Both homes feature dual living rooms, a propane kiva fireplace on each floor, a chef’s kitchen with European-style appliances, and a full-size washer and dryer. Great Hosts, Great Stay

The property is clean and well-managed. It's well furnished with everything a guest would need. The hosts were very accessible and easy to communicate with. The property has a nice view of Valdez and is midway between the town and the ski area.

Beautiful Family Christmas

The town houses are beautiful and spacious. The location is amazing, being less than 15 min from the Ski Resort, as well as 15-20 minutes from town for groceries. It doesn’t get much better than that. The hot tub was very enjoyable as well.

Excellent stay

We spent 2 nights at the Bella Vista Valdez lodge and had an excellent experience. The location of the townhouse was great because of the easy access to the ski valley and the quaint town of Arroyo Seco. The spacious floorplan was perfect for our group of 6 and the well appointed kitchen made it easy for meal prep and dining. Communication with the owners was excellent, as well. If you are planning a trip to Taos, we highly recommend staying at Bella Vista.

Great stay!

This was a great place to stay for a large group that wants to ski Taos. The host was very responsive with some hiccups with check in and a battery change in the fire alarm. It was about a 15 minute drive to the mountain and a 15 minute drive to town. We went out to dinner one night in Taos the town and it was great! The place was clean and beds were comfortable. The stars are beautiful out there! We really enjoyed our stay with a large group and would definitely book again.
