Charming 1945 Bungalow with Modern Comforts and Lake Views
Welcome to your home away from home in the Forsyth/Branson area! This charming 1945 bungalow, full of character and a few delightful quirks, offers a cozy retreat with all the comforts you need. We take pride in making your stay as comfortable as possible, including seasonal decorations during Christmas, complete with a beautifully adorned tree, so you’ll truly feel like it’s your second home.
We’ve ensured that this vintage gem meets modern safety standards, working closely with the city of Forsyth to earn our business license. You can rest easy knowing the house is equipped with wired smoke detectors, emergency lights, and a fire extinguisher.
Cozy Spaces with a Touch of History
The kitchen, though quaint, is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare meals, including place settings for 12 and a brand-new dishwasher. For those who love grilling, a gas grill with utensils is ready for use. The dining area, with its intimate seating for four and a lovely lake view, is perfect for shared meals.
The upstairs living room is a cozy gathering spot, featuring a couch and loveseat with power recliners, a 55" flat-screen smart TV with Roku, and a small deck where you can unwind and watch the sunset. The master bedroom is conveniently connected to a large bathroom with a washer/dryer combo and a standard shower/tub.
Despite its compact size, the small bedroom off the living room offers a comfortable queen-sized bed, chosen for a good night's sleep over extra floor space.
Downstairs Retreat
Head down the stairs, secured by a sturdy gate, to the finished basement where the charm of the 1940s truly shines. The family room, with hand-hewn beams and solid wood walls, exudes rustic warmth. It’s a great place to relax, play a game of pool, or watch TV on the 65" smart TV with cable. The pool table may have seen some wear, but it’s perfect for a friendly game. We’ve also stocked the room with board games, extra linens, toys, and even a play tent for the little ones.
The downstairs bedroom features two queen beds and another locking entrance/exit, while the adjacent bathroom offers a unique old fashioned experience with its all-concrete design, roomy shower, and lower-than-average showerhead, a charming quirk of this vintage home.
Scenic Lake Views
One of the highlights of this property is the stunning lake view that can be enjoyed from almost every room. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee on the deck or relaxing in the family room, the serene water views are sure to enhance your stay.
Come experience the unique blend of vintage charm and modern convenience at our 1945 bungalow. Book your stay today and make memories in a home that’s as welcoming as it is full of character.
