our little irish cottage by the sea
this property is a hidden gem. Warmly greeted by our host Brian, we settled in for a wonderful 3 days. The cottage was very well equipped for self catering, and the little fire each night kept us warm and cosy.. The views were sublime with unique scenery we would not have seen anywhere else. We enjoyed Dingle and the local village, and our drives along Slea Head Drive and Conor Pass. We would highly recommend this property.

Good Place to enjoy the Dingle Peninsula
We enjoyed staying here. It was easy to access the entire peninsula and a short drive to town. Owner was VERY nice and helpful. The cottage was clean and easily accessible. Only thing to note is the photos make it look very secluded which it is not. There are lots of other houses on either side of these ones. Still had great views to the front and back. Would definitely rent again! Thank you!

Very nice Location close to the sea
The house is simple and siutable decorated. We did not miss anything. The house can be heated with a stove and electrical heating systems. A bit special is the additional payment for electricity. The location is perfect, nice trails right next to the door. We would come again. Thanks to Phil and Brian.

The exploration of Dingle peninsula
We spend a nice week in the house and check in and out was easy and very kindly. We went on trips every day and have a good night in the house. Everything we need was there. As a suggestion, a game for the whole family would be nice. We forgot it, but the weather was fine to do things outside. Thanks for the week. Hagen and family

Entspannter Familienurlaub

Quiet and peaceful
The cottage was quiet and rustic, as described. Everything we needed was there, and we got groceries in Dingle. The laundry was helpful since it was mid-trip for us. My kids liked seeing the cows and chickens. The hiking advice was helpful, which led us to beautiful spots. The cottage was cozy and rustic. We didn’t use the fireplace, but it was set up for a fire. The kids slept in the room with 2 beds, which they liked. Kitchen was fine for simple meals. It was peaceful!

Beautiful and stunning location!
We loved our stay in these cute cottages. We were looking for a quiet stay with stunning scenery just out of town. A short drive to Ballyferriter and just a little further to Dingle, it was exactly what we wanted. Clean and comfortable and friendly! We would definitely recommended and will likely stay again!

Wonderful Experience
We loved our time in Ballyferriter. Not only was the home perfect for our family of three but Philomena's family were wonderful on-site hosts. They provided great recommendations for the area and even set-up an Easter morning egg hunt for our three year old daughter. It was a memorable experience watching her and their daughter run around the yard together. The home is walking distance to a beautiful beach, a short drive/walk to several good pubs and perfectly situated for exploring Slea Head Drive. Dingle Town is quick drive for additional amenities--large grocery store, many restaurants/pubs, fantastic ice cream at Murphy's and the delightful Little Cheese Shop--but is also busy with tourist traffic so we were happy to be slightly off the beaten path (always our goal when traveling). Highly recommend Suantra Cottages!

Nice people and great location.
Clean and neat property located in a peaceful and dramatically beautiful setting. The owner, as well as her daughter and son, were all very attentive to our every need. Dingle is a short drive and an excellent golf course is nearby. There’s a beautiful beach within a walkable distance. The experience was an all around treat!

You will always want to come back to Dingle
These butter yellow cottages facing the Wild Atlantic Way are absolutely wonderful as is the family that will be your hosts. This is our second 2 week stay and we loved it. The cottage has a wonderful fireplace stove and Philomina will see to it you always have wood. The kitchen is well appointed and the beds are great. You can see cows and calves and sheep with their lambs grazing on the hillside in the back and an unobstructed view of the sea in front. Walk to a dramatic strand of beach or Louis' gorgeous pottery studio for delicious coffee and cakes. Visit the Great Blasket Center and Dingle Town Aquarium. The very best is the incredible O'Connor family themselves. They will make you welcome and you will never forget them. We have taken 8 trips to Ireland and the OConnors, Dingle and the Wild Atlantic Way are our most cherished memories.

Lovely cottages within walking distance to the ocean
I enjoyed staying here. Philomena and her family were very warm and friendly. It was a bit harsh weather as is January, but the wood stove and heaters provided a cozy atmosphere.

Another great stint on the Dingle Peninsula
Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Suantra. Philomena and Sharon communicated excellently and went out of their way to assist when some issues driving to the cottage. It's a beautiful location and very cosy cottage, fully equipped with everything you need....plus it's got fast WiFi so I stay connected to the office (yuck, right?) for a few of the days. Can't wait to go back and stay even longer!

The Very BEST Place to Stay in Dingle
I could not have more wonderful things to say about my stay in the Suantra Cottages. Philomena goes above and beyond as a host. She became a great source of wisdom on the area, showing us around Dingle and all the incredible history it holds. Our time here was nothing short of sacred. This place has a healing energy that seeps into your bones, leaving you feeling refreshed, renewed, and fully connected to nature. The cottages are well appointed, and super cozy. I spent most evenings relaxing by the fire, or outside stargazing. Philomena was so much more than a host- in our month here we met her family, shared many cups of tea, and felt so incredibly welcomed into this space. Book this rental now! You won't regret it.

Beautiful place, very cosy and comfortable cottage
We spent a week in one of the cottages and we were absolutely delighted with it! The surrounding area is really heart-stoppingly beautiful... Dingle is our favourite place in Ireland and this particular spot is just incredibly wonderful. The cottage is also clean, comfortable and very cosy. The fireplace is great on a rainy day, the kitchen well-equipped and the washing machine and dryer very handy, too. Philomena and her daughter Sharon were very friendly, warm and welcoming and we definitely felt very much at home in this lovely cottage. Our boys (aged 7 and 10) also really loved the place. Our favourite trip was to Great Blasket Island - there is a ferry from Dunquin, just a 5-minute drive away - the boat trip was great fun, we saw lots of seals on the beach, had a nice walk and went on a guided tour of the village on Great Blasket. But we also enjoyed the walks from Suantra cottage very much and Clogher beach is very, very beautiful too. We cannot wait to come back to this lovely place - we are from Germany, so it's not quite 'around the corner', but we will try and be back as soon as possible...

Suantra Cottage, stay for family of 5
Cottage was cosy, clean and well fitted out. We had just the right amount of space for a family of two adults and three children. Great views from all around the cottage and a lovely loop walk starting just across the road takes in two nearby beaches. Philomena was very welcoming and happy to answer all of our queries and gave us useful local advice.

Lovely cottage in a wonderful location
We had an absolutely brilliant stay at Suantra Cottages! We thank Philomena and her daughter Sharon so much for their hospitality. They are both extremely kind, generous and courteous people and did everything they could, that we had the most enjoyable stay at their holiday home. We were two couples travelling together and there was plenty of room. The apartment was very clean and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. There were even electric blankets in the bedrooms. The view from the house is absolutely beautiful and breathtaking. This holiday home was perfect for our group and made our trip to Ireland very enjoyable. We will definitely come back!

Simply a stunning home away from home!
Suantra cottages is a home away from home in one of the most beautiful locations in all of Ireland. We met the owner briefly but mostly dealt with her daughter Sharon who is just a wonderful person. Incredibly welcoming, very caring for our comfort and needs and gave us very good information to make the visit so much more worthwhile. We were there a week and it was magical, it is very relaxing and peaceful but within a very close distance to Ballyferriter for pubs, a short drive to Dingle, plus the walks around the area are just stunning beyond words. The cottage was just perfect for my husband and I and could easily have fit a couple more, but the other cottages available would make it a perfect place for a large group to vacation with. We had everything we needed and the pictures are true to the set up of the location. Very cosy and quaint and clean. But you really can't do justice in a photo to the beauty of the location. There is a lovely 5 min walk to Clogher beach as well as fantastic walk by the Blasket Island visitor center, which is a short drive away. The pubs close by are very friendly with good food and music. We traveled a month in Ireland and stayed in many different locations and this was our favorite place of all and if you want to make people who live in Ireland jealous, tell them you stayed here. We cannot wait to take another trip to the Dingle Peninsula and stay at Suantra I would recommend this location to all my friends and family.

Warm, Lovely, PERFECT Vacation
My husband and I spent a week in one of the cottages, and have just reserved a three-week return trip this coming Spring. The Dingle Peninsula has some of the most magnificent scenery on earth, and Suantra Cottages are nestled right in the heart of it. There are spectacular walks and hikes directly from the cottage door, with the beautiful Clogher Beach just across the road. As a painter and photographer, there could not have been a more perfect spot for me! Dingle town, with all its pubs, shops and charm, is just a 15-minute drive from the cottages, and Ballyferriter, just 5 minutes. The cottages are simple, warm, immaculate and cozy, and have everything you could need or want for a self-catered stay. The beds are comfortable, kitchen very well-equipped, and there's a washer/dryer available. Also the Internet connection is astonishingly good! but the view from the front door alone, is worth the price of admission! The property owner, Phil, is lovely, and did everything and more to make our stay memorable. She lives nearby and has a wealth of information about the area that she's pleased to share. We cannot wait to get back to this magical place!
