We only used the property as a homebase but it was great. Wish we would have had more time to stay and enjoy the waterfront and home during the day! Host was a helpful and accomodating.
We have stayed at this property for three consecutive years now! We love it. The lake is quiet which was perfect for our non-motorized watercraft and safe for our young kids. Our kids loved the big sandy beach, the toys, and dock.
The only downside is the swimmers itch. It is prevalent and precautions necessary, but otherwise fantastic! We will be back!
The cabin was comfortable for the 9 of us! The kids really enjoyed the beach. We were able to visit beautiful waterfalls in the area! It is really a nice facility, and everything just made it a lovely time together!!!
We have been coming to this property for several years, sometimes a couple times per year. We love the location, beach for the kids, the cabin is beautiful. The owners are responsive and care about your stay.
We had a great weekend stay at this property. Carisa was an accommodating host and very responsive with the process. The beach and sand area was perfect for our little ones and they loved playing with the toys and in the water. We had five adults and three littles and there was plenty of space for all of us.
Weather and property was perfect for water fun. Nice beach and pier for kayaking, SUP, tubing, and fishing. Wonderful fire pit. Onside the house was very nice. With convenient kitchen nd nice rec room .
Check out is a little extensive but not a problem.. Definitely would recommend this place for a group our size (5 adults and 4 kids)
With so many young children we were looking for a sandy beach to occupy their time and this is what we loved about this place. They spent hours playing in the sand and fishing off the pier or in the paddle boat. The water was clear, shallow, easily accessible and visible from the house.
This is a wonderful home on a beautiful lake. A few negatives included swimmers itch a number of our group incurred to various degrees. We tried the preventative and post swimming remedies suggested but unfortunately a number of us had skin issues. Also, the knives in the knife block are very dull. Other than that we had a great time!
We had the best time here with our family. We were looking for a quiet place where we could get away from the busyness of our daily lives and just chill. This was it! With so many little ones the private beach was perfect. The sand was soft, the water clean and we appreciated the low boat traffic and peacefulness of the surrounding area. The older children also enjoyed fishing off the pier and searching for frogs. We all enjoyed the fire pit at night. The pool table was a hit. The house was clean and comfortable. Carissa was very accommodating to our needs. I will definitely consider renting the place again.
Our overall experience was good. We enjoyed ourselves and it was relaxing. The neighbors were extremely friendly and very helpful!
The owner did warn us about swimmers itch before and we all ended up getting it very badly, which made most of us not go into the beautiful water. We were disappointed we couldn’t be in the water more.
A few things to consider, when you check out you are suppose to get rid of your trash. Plan on saving room for it or bring a trailer or something to put leaky bags in. If you do it on the weekend, plan on taking it home with you. Or she leaves instructions on other times you can take it to the local place.
When you leave, you need to do a little housekeeping. Stripping the beds and starting a load of dishes and a load of towels in the dryer are pretty standard stuff that we have done before. Leave some extra time to vacuum the whole house. It’s not that it was hard, but not what I planned on doing on my get away.
Regardless, we had a good time and made the best with what we could with the swimmers itch. We wanted to make people aware just as we wish we had known that stuff ahead of time. If none of that bothers you, it was a nice place to stay.
We enjoyed our stay here! The home is even more spacious than you see in the pics! It is super clean, the view is gorgeous. You can look at the lake from the kitchen table, it is perfect! Stay up until midnight, look straight up to see the Milky Way! You’ll love it here!
Property was well maintained and exactly as advertised. Beach area was awesome for our grandchildren to play. Less than 90 minutes from Green Bay, so a convenient drive. Home was well appointed and other than perhaps a few extra blankets, everything we needed was provided. Beds were comfortable. Children enjoyed catching pan fish right off the dock. Water was clean, shallow entrance to lake and plenty of water toys and things to play with.
*As advertised, no TV or Wifi* We tried using "hot spots" but still service was sporadic. So if Wifi is critical, this is not the vacation location for you.
Patio doors were a challenge, one was broken and not to be used and the other worked fine, but didn't have a screen door on it, so we had some flies in the house. Refrigerator ice maker did not work and grill required charcoal..........but we supplmented what was needed. Neither of these were big deals, but just wanted to mention.
We would definitely consider going again.

Swimmers itch
We all had a blast until kids all got swimmers itch and some adults. Small lake, clear, but the snails got churned up buy all the boats on 4th of july weekend. Should have been informed of problem. Canin to close to road. Fishing was terrible. We swam test of time in the middle of lake. Bought a bunch of medical stuff for swimmers itch. TV would not work, no wifi, and no radio. Would help on rain days. We still had fun .
Property was perfect for our family celebrating our 45 anniversary. The "grands" (mostly teenagers) enjoyed the time as much as the adults. Great stay.
We had a great time staying at this lake property. We had a smaller group and it was perfect. We were close to the trails and went RZRing for the weekend. Very peaceful setting with great amenities. We would like to come back again in summer so we can enjoy the lake.
On the day we arrived, we seen a bald eagle sitting on top of a dead dear on the side of the road - pretty awesome!
The private beach is nice. The kids really enjoyed it. We tried casting a hook and worm for some bluegill but to no avail. The home itself is nice and has pretty much a full kitchen. You don't need to bring any kitchen tools/utensils, which is a plus if you like to cook. Nothing bad to say except the stairs. If you bring your elderly mother like we did, it could be a task.
We stayed here during the first week of October and were so impressed with the thoroughness of the homeowner's communications, the cleanliness of the home, the beautiful high-end finishes and the stunning property. This is a spacious split-level (must be able to handle stairs) with a fully stocked kitchen and lots of fun discoveries for kids (toys, games, canoe, bunk room). We made great memories here and think it would be even better during a warm summer week when we could spend more time in the water. The beach is truly amazing.
We had a Wonderful stay at your place!! We spent most of our time outside enjoying the beach, water and playing lawn games!! My family has not taken a family vacation in years this was just what we needed!!
Great stay as always. We plan family get aways regularly to this property. Peaceful lake, with lots of Bass. Plenty of other things in the area to do. The cottage is very clean and modern.
