About this property
Beorn's Retreat: natural living in Asheville NC
Beorn's Retreat is a cozy single level one-bedroom suite featuring a king bed with pristine white fragrance-free hotel-quality linens, lush towels and individually climate controlled rooms. A rigorous inspection of cleanliness is carried out between each guest with fresh duvet covers and bathmats for each stay. Perfect for digital nomads or folks in town for school or a mountain getaway.
After Hurricane Helene, the city has shown incredible resilience and we’re grateful to be able to offer this suite as a peaceful, comfortable space to help you relax and make the most of your time here. Located in a quiet, close-knit neighborhood, Beorn's Retreat provides a peaceful and convenient landing pad with the comforts of home.
The bedroom has a mini-split for climate control and ceiling fan, 65" Roku TV, new high-quality semi firm king size bed and ample closet space.
The bathroom features a marble vanity, bluetooth speaker, and free & clear shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, with lush white towels for 4.
The full kitchen is stocked with spices and cooking oil, coffee & tea, keurig, coffee pot, toaster, blender, full oven & range, cookware, fridge and freezer. All new full-size appliances, ideal for foodies and folks on the go. Gather your friends or family around the dining nook for games and good food.
The lounge area across from the nook has a pull out queen bed. Hotel-quality, fragrance-free bedding including a camel hair comforter can be found inside the chest. We have high speed wifi available as well as books, games, and puzzles on hand
The outside space is a private partially fenced yard with picnic table, fire-pit, and evening lighting. Please be advised that several neighbor dogs are visible from the yard. Our quiet, family friendly neighborhood is full of natural beauty and wildlife. Any wild animals are to be appreciated from a respectful distance. Smoking is permitted outside away from the house.
Free on-site parking for 1 vehicle is provided for you directly in front of the entrance. A second parking space may be available for an additional fee with advance notice.
We are pet friendly :) Please let us know how many and what kind of pets you will be bringing and include them in the reservation. We do ask that all pets be leashed in the yard at all times out of an abundance of caution. Be advised that there are two dogs living upstairs & in almost every neighboring home.
Please note that you may hear some movement upstairs as there are folks living above Beorn's Retreat, and there is a doorbell camera monitoring the front door.
We do require guests to accept our Vacation Rental Agreement as required by NC legislation § 42A-10. It will be sent to the email connected to the booking and your signature on the agreement, or payment of money or taking possession of the property after receipt of the agreement, will be evidence of your acceptance of the agreement and your intent to use this property for a vacation rental. Thank you!
