Great spacious living area, and off road parking, theres two toilets upstairs and one downstairs, a well-appointed kitchen which met all our needs. We had a fantastic stay making new family memories there. For me the road was a little hairy, narrow and busy with farm machinery not what I'm use to, however my son found driving on this normal for him.
Mooi groot vakantiehuis!
Sofa needed a clean under the cushions, could of does with a information sheet about bins and address information including what three word for emergency services.but everything else was great

Liked: Cleanliness, location
Reasonable for the price paid
Although we acknowledge that the price reflected the accommodation provided, we would have looked elsewhere had we realised there was only one shower for the 8 of us (the information said two) and that the beds were located in such confined areas of each bedroom to make them quite uncomfortable and, in one case, almost unusable
Das Haus, die Umgebung ist schön. Man ist für sich.
Etwas hellhörig ( Schnarcher sollten unten schlafen ) ;-)
Insgesamt eine tolle Unterkunft.
Es hat uns sehr gefallen.
Excellent central location for visiting many Kent attractions. Communication with property managers was terrific- they suggested an excellent restaurant for us to celebrate my mother-in-law’s birthday. We wished there had been a house “book” to explain some things, but we managed to figure out everything we needed. Thank you for a lovely experience.
We were so pleased with the property, it worked so well for our family Christmas. It was lovely to be left some festive goodies, wine, chocolates and luxury crackers. Very thoughtful. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely property in keeping with the location. Spacious, well equipped and constant hot water. Met the needs of all our party consisting of 4 adults and 4 children. Perfectly situated to access inland and coastal places of interest. We also liked being able to walk locally. Good pub with excellent dining and a park for the kids. Would stay again.
Good location , plenty of space , packed full of all one needs for self catering We highly recommend this holiday home.

Short stay before moving to new house
Very well equipped property but found it quite dark. No toilet roll holders and proper place to hang towels in bathroom/toilet.
Found matress on bed in main bedroom very very hard, feel it needs to be replaced.
A large barn with open plan living area very warm although some areas dimly lit which was a shame but very useful outdoor space for parking and children to play. Plenty to do / see in the surrounding area too - Mote Park and Maidstone museum were really enjoyed by the family.
Fabulous property, in great location. Easy access to all main routes. Enabled us to visit old childhood haunts whilst enjoying a well earned break in the current climate.

Fantastic Christmas week away
As a family group of 8, we stayed for a week over the Christmas period and were made up with Holly Barn Lodge.
The barn was spacious and comfortable, with clean bedding and towels in all rooms. In the kitchen we found everything we could've wanted and the three bathrooms came in very useful.
The gravelled courtyard was great for playing with the dog and local walking trails and nearby Leeds Castle and Mote Park provided good walks.
A final, lovely touch was the handwritten Christmas card and bottles of bubbly, mince pies and goodies left for us.
Overall, we all had a great week and would highly recommend Holly Barn Lodge to any groups wanting a relaxing retreat.

Very pleasant week in the Holly Lodge Barn
We were two families with four adults and four teenagers and we spent a very pleasant week in the house. The house was comfortable and large enough for the eight of us. We especially enjoyed the main lounge.
The location of the house enabled us to go twice to London by the train from Maidstone, and we also visited Canterbury, the cliffs of Dover, Knole Castle with less than 45 min drive.
I really would recommend this house for families.

lovely family sized barn
We had a wonderful stay at Holly Lodge, plenty of space even with 4 adults, 2 children and a baby. Property was clean but it would of been great if basic cleaning things e.g washing up liquid, cleaning spray was provided. We would recommend this property and would love to stay there again,
Leeds Castle is a must for all!!!!!!
