Amy's cottage is a cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage secluded on a fenced, redwood covered acre. The cottage is an original homestead home of Del Norte County, We furnished with antiques in keeping with it's history. It is located in a central county location, surrounded by farms and forest. It is 5 minutes from Kellogg Beach, 5 minutes from the Smith River and 10 minutes from Redwood National Park. A new hot tub which is located under the redwood tree canopy next to the campfire ring awaits your arrival!

Great little place!
We loved this place! It’s not far from town but in the trees. Quiet and secluded. Older house. Clean. The hot tub is a great touch. I revimend you bring your own fire starter and use caution when entering the hot tub, the steps go to lounger instead of the step inside. We both fell at different points. Thank you!

Great place for a little getaway.
My wife and I are celebrating 30 years together and 27 years married. We wanted to get away and found this place. We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was really adorable and cozy. We enjoyed the hot tub and the quietness.

Unfortunately it rained most of the tme we were there which created large puddles. Imagine it's beautiful in the Spring, summer and fall.

Perfect Cottage in the Woods
This place was exactly the experience we wanted in the redwoods. You’re surrounded by trees and can barely see any other houses, so it feels very secluded, but it’s not too far off the main road. Beds were comfy, hot tub was immaculately clean, definitely would stay here again!

Amy’s Redwood Cottage is located in a stunning location. You won’t find anything better. The interior is delightful and the beds very comfortable. Wi-Fi connection was great too. Check out day was a breeze, as well.

Nestled in the Redwoods
We loved our stay in this quiet home surrounded by Redwoods. The hot tub was clean and lovely. The gas grill worked great and we had plenty of grill tools. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to cook all of our meals. There is beach access about 3 miles west and was nice and quiet. We saw several people with dogs. I highly recommend this home!

Beautiful property
We were two sets of mom/teenage daughter. Queen bed was perfect for one set of us...the other teen made up a bed on the couch instead of sharing the double with her mom and said it was very comfortable. Hot tub was very nice and clean, super great in the mornings and evenings. Whole house felt very clean and had all the amenities we needed. Easy drive into Crescent City, out to Jed Smith, or up to Brookings. The Sea West thai restaurant down the road was fantastic. We would stay here again.

Just like Grandma’s home!
We absolutely were amazed with the yard, the cottage in the woods! Everything was wonderful. Loved the antique furniture. I’d recommend this to anyone.

I was born and raised in Del Norte County. After leaving the area for many years pursuing higher education and a career, I moved back in the Spring of 2021 with my family to raise my children in this beautiful landscape. We love spending time outside; hiking in the redwoods, searching for "treasure" on the beach, and swimming in the river during the warmer summer months.
