Beautiful View BUT DIRTY & WORN

This condo had a fantastic view and location. The beach access was easy and the pool very nice and clean. Overall, Windemere was a great property. Now for some criticisms of 1505. When we arrived, we dropped our things, took in the view, then headed out for dinner. When we returned and began unpacking we noticed how dirty and beat up the place was. I called Vacasa and reported with pictures of stains on the walls, dust, and dirt. They did send cleaners out the next day. Someone sloshed wine all over the kitchen, patio, and patio furniture. Vacasa did clean but whoever cleaned before us did a awful job. The condo itself needs painting and upkeep. The walls are all scratched and beat up/dirty. Kitchen cabinets are broken. The kitchen is stocked VERY minimally, so lots of hand washing. No oven mits. No area rugs or mats anywhere to help control sand. Sand was a battle the entire time despite our best efforts. The TV’s in the bedrooms DO NOT WORK. Vacasa or hosts did not respond to me on this after inquiring the first night Beware if you drive a SUV or truck! The parking is TERRIBLE and tight. Huge concrete turns that are far too tight. Windemere itself is fantastic. But we essentially paid for a view. This was our one big family vacation this year and we did not get what we paid for. I always book through Vacasa and have never had issues before. Vacasa needs to hold this host and your janitorial accountable. This one missed the mark.

A perfect week in paradise!

Windemere 1505 is a beautiful beach condo in Perdido Key, FL, and it was an outstanding experience. The condo was impeccably clean, convenient, and offered stunning views of the Gulf. The location was perfect, with easy access to restaurants, local attractions and direct beach access. The amenities, including a swimming pool and hot tub were top-notch. The host was very responsive and provided excellent recommendations for local dining and activities. Overall, this condo provided the perfect blend of luxury and comfort for a relaxing beach getaway with my family. I look forward to booking this condo again! Thank you. : )

Perfect for our family!

Our stay was wonderful. The master bedroom had plenty of room for a pack-n-play. We were even able to put it in the master bathroom as well. Spacious enough for us to have space in the unit and not be too crowded. We had 3 adults and 2 children in our group. We liked the close proximity to nas pensacola so we could go watch the blue angels practice. Would definitely like to come back!

Dirty and falling apart

There was garbage left from the previous guests in the cans and on the floor. The place was falling apart and stains everywhere. The shower curtain bar had toilet paper stuck to it and the wall. The toilet ran the entire time we were there. The shower in the master leaked from cracks in the handle and through the shower enclosure into the bathtub. Rubber seals were hanging down and the furniture was stained and had burn marks all over the table. The dishwasher wouldn't even open and the batteries in the TV remote were dead. None of the channels would ever load. The hot tub was lukewarm at best and absolutely full of sand and a large mirror had come off the wall in the elevator area with broken glass everywhere and no one around to clean it up. At least the beach was beautiful. We were on our honeymoon and it was just very disappointing. If you're going to have white furniture in a rental, probably a good idea to keep it clean. Couches were not at all comfortable and the patio furniture has seen much better days. Would not stay here again.

Perfect beach condo for our family

Spacious and clean property, on a beautiful beach! Also plenty of room for a family. We had a pack n play and bassinet, and had plenty of options for where our kids would sleep.

GREAT PLACE FOR A CHEAP GET AWAY

Nice place for the money. We drove down in my wife's Yukon XL. LOVED THE OVERSIZED PARKING SPACE!!! You might want to buy some new towels but not a deal killer. We brought our own. I'll go back. Already told 2 folks about the stay.

Beautiful and Peaceful

This was exactly what we needed!! My husband and I loved our stay. The unit is very nice, clean and comfortable. The view is spectacular!! Great place and awesome view. Saw many Dolphins. Loved the Pizza across the street. Comfy beds and 3 Great big TVs. Only recommendation would be to post the wifi password within the unit and create a sheet that lists which channel each network is. Really tough to search for shows without it. That would have helped a lot. Thank you!

Great Stay

Clean, medium size complex. Surprisingly not too crowded for week of Labor Day. Just the Wife and I and this place was more than enough. It is two nice size bedrooms with master having really comfy king and second having 2 twins. First comment is the place was very clean. Being right on the gulf you expect some weather impact but no excuses for being dirty and this unit was really clean upon arrival. Vacasa made it very easy for arrival. Email and texts with everything we needed regarding door codes, special considerations, even weather for our stay. Got 4 days of great weather and really enjoyed all amenities at beach and pool. Lots of activities, restaurants, and entertainment very close by. Highly recommend. Being on 15 floor offered full visibility up and down the coast with little noise issue of being lower.

Beautiful Suite, But We Had Pest Issues

The suite itself is beautiful, and very spacious. The decor and appliances have been updated, so any previous reviews complaining about that shouldn't be taken into account at this point. We found it a little tricky finding out parking spot and navigating the narrow ramps up and down into the 2nd floor of the parking garage. Also, to get to the 15th floor (PH2), you have to press PH2 then 222 on the elevator buttons for the floors for it to go to the needed floor. Not a big deal, but had to read back over the emails from Vacasa to find that info. We would have had a lovely stay but for the fact that the first night we were there, we saw and killed several small roaches - and not the large kind that come from outside. I contacted Vacasa about the issue and didn't hear from them until I called and left a message and sent a second email the next day. They did end up refunding us for the nights we were there and relocating us to another unit in Orange Beach, though there was loud construction noise happening in the floor directly below that one, so it was a frustrating experience to have to pack up, reload the car, drive to the new location, unpack the car again and haul everything into the new unit. We were told that the suite next door to 1505 Windemere had been sprayed for pests a couple of weeks ago and it was possible that the roaches we saw were from there. I hope they can get it sorted out as I feel bad for the owner missing out on bookings because of something like that, especially when the unit itself is so nicely updated now. One other small thing that could use some attention, as mentioned by others, is the caulking in the master tub and shower. There are places where it's peeling off and some spots of mildew.
