We do have a security camera placed on the front side of the cabin for your safety only, this camera is pointing down the driveway only and will not affect your privacy at our cabin at all, I can turn it off per your request until your departure

If you are looking for rest and relaxation, nature, a chance to getaway from it all, then this is the place. But, remember, there are no street lights, no sirens, no honking horns. Be ready to kick back , have a cup of coffee, a beer, whatever suits you. Leave the stress behind and enjoy your stay. Bring your family and enjoy activities such as hiking, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, whitewater ATV riding and Rock climbing or just sit on the porch and enjoy nature and piece and solitude Remember this cabin is located right on the access road which takes you to the Tail Waters to the gauley river. Enjoy the 6 person Hot tub ,Check In time is 4pm and Check out is at 11:00am . And also wanted to add the description that VRBO listed on our site showing directions to different activities in the area that is mostly incorrect if you have any questions about distances to any particular place you are wanting to travel please notify me so I can give you the correct distance. We are only 1.5 miles from the Upper Gauley River there is no one around covered hot tub so you can enjoy in all kinds weather. We do advise renters that 4 wheel drive and chains are required during the winter months/ and no refunds will be given for storms, power outages and inclement weather No shooting of any firearms are allowed on property. This base rate is for 2 people each additional guest after 2 will be a additional 15.00 per person per night. THE ONLY PEOPLE ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY ARE PAYING GUEST ONLY, ANY VISITORS WILL HAVE TO PAY THE EXTRA FEE. also wanted to list that we do charge a small pet fee which is non-refundable of $25. when making your reservation. please make sure that you click the pet tab. that way it will let me know that you are bringing a pet and your charge will be added. if you have any questions whatsoever concerning our listing or anything about our listing, please do not hesitate to message me. we can go over everything before you decide to book. thanks again.

Quiet secluded cabin in the woods

Had a great time at the cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. The cabin was very quiet and comfortable. We hiked all day in the beautiful New River Gorge, Hawksnest State Park, and Babcock State Park. Saw hundreds of waterfalls after all the rain. The hot tub was just what we needed after long days on the trails. The only thing I would suggest is a hot tub cover lift as the cover was heavy and difficult to get back on. Other than that everything was great. We would definitely return if we come back to the area. eeded

No extra things such has hands soap and such on premises. In prepared ahead of time to being that along. Gravel around hot tub. Worn out furniture. Cabin seemed unfinished for money paid

It was a very clean quiet stay. A few stink bugs, but nothing to worry about. The hot tub was great. The owners were amazing help and always were in communication. Highly recommended.

Absolute beauty and peaceful!

Cabin was quaint and comfortable. Property was secluded, quiet and beautiful! My only advice is to try to arrive before dark. We got in late and it was kind of an intimidating road getting to the cabin, but paved or gravel all the way. However, my husband, has driven on winding, narrow, hilly roads before and therefore we had no issues once we found our way. When we went back out the next day in the daylight the road did not seem so intimidating. The cabin was most definitely worth the drive! We timed our weekend well as the leaves were changing into vibrant colors! Our dogs loved the property as they could run about freely without disturbing any neighbors. Woods all around made a peaceful relaxing space! Hot tub was hot and jets were powerful! Most enjoyable after a day of exploring the area. Would definitely come back!

Take me home country road

Cabin is clean, roomy, well-kept, and super peaceful. Secluded is not the word. So nice to sit on a porch and listen to nature. Beautiful surroundings. Hot tub feels wonderful after a long day of hiking, boating, fishing, or whatever. Great place!

We loved this property. It was private and a good size yard. The cabin was so clean and very efficient had everything you would need. It was great for my dog didnt have to tie him up the whole time. The host was so great. If you needed anything answered right away.

Perfect Getaway

We stayed here for 3 nights while celebrating our anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. Secluded and beautiful. We had 2 nights with clear skies and enjoyed the firepit out front. The 3rd night it rained, so we sat on the front porch and played cards. The cabin itself was great, everything we needed. If we find ourselves in West Virginia again, we'll definitely be staying here again!

Memorial weekend stay

Weekend getaway

We rented the cabin for a weekend getaway from the city. It was exactly as described. Check in was super easy and Miss Barbara was right on point with answering my questions. She was so accommodating as we were driving 4 hours to come. So easy to work with. The stay was cozy, there was everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and the cabin was clean and stocked with amenities. The property is extremely pet friendly. Our dogs had a wonderful time. Getting around was a breeze with 4wd (recommended) but also because the hosts told us ahead of time about steep parts of the road and driveway…. Beautiful scenery. Super nice people. The local community was kind and welcoming as were the hosts. And there’s a Piggly Wiggly up highway a few miles! We will be back not just for the scenery and cabin, but also because there are still genuinely nice people in this world and the hosts are an example of that. I left with serenity and new people in my life that I’m grateful for. We can’t wait to come back.

Everything was great my boyfriend and I spent the first night just enjoying the place with so much space and quiet and the second night in the hot tub with the great lights. Third day we went into town and met amazing people and great bars around close. Overall amazing place I now want to live here in West Virginia

We had a such a wonderful stay at this secluded, quiet cabin. The owners went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and we had everything we needed. The cabin was fully stocked with everything you would need as well as plenty of bedding and tons of towels. The washer/dryer was an added bonus. These are the kind of people you want to rent off of. I've never had hosts as kind and accommodating as the Leggs were. We will definitely be back.
