About this property

Built in 1880 by a sea captain for his daughter, this historic vacation home is just two blocks from the Narragansett Bay. This sun-filled home boasts three bedrooms, 1 full bath, large modern kitchen, living room and library. Relax in the private backyard and enjoy cocktails or coffee on the sundeck.

This home is located in historic and charming Bristol, Rhode Island. Flanking the sea, the town is peppered with restaurants, parks, boutique shops and antique stores. Stroll, jog or bike on the scenic rail trail in town while enjoying views of the Narragansett Bay. Also situated in town, Colt State Park is a beautiful oasis offering a private beach, hiking trails, and picnic and sporting areas. The park is appointed with stone walls, groomed fruit trees, flowering bushes, and manicured lawns. Bristol is home to the oldest 4th of July Parade in America. This home is only 1 block from the parade route. Celebrate the festivities include the 2 week concert series, carnival, and fireworks.

The house is conveniently located just 13 miles north of Newport. Newport offers beaches, shopping, restaurants, and Gilded Age mansions. Enjoy the Cliff Walk along the shoreline. Interested in art galleries, nightlife, and local culture? Providence is a quick 25 minute drive north. Also, Block Island is easily assessable via ferry.

Amazing location

We loved the location of this house! We walked everywhere the entire weekend. The deck was lovely in the morning with coffee and the beds were comfy. We would definitely return!

Cute, charming home

We stayed at the house for a wedding weekend at a nearby venue and couldn’t have been happier. The home is well kept and inviting and Stephanie promptly responded to our question when contacted. The location is also very charming and close to a lot of attractions. Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful home in a great location!

This is a great house; it’s even nicer than it looks in the pictures. It’s spacious and stocked with everything you could want. The neighbors were very friendly. It’s walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops and pubs. Stephanie was easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again!

Charming home close to downtown and RWU

We were very comfortable and couldn't be happier about the location -- walking distance to shops and restaurants in downtown Bristol, and close to Roger Williams University. The hosts were extremely attentive, it was warm, well-appointed, super clean and charming. We stayed here for RWU Parent's Weekend and we loved having the option to drive or walk to whatever we needed. Short drive to RWU, so it made it all easy for all of us. Great weekend, and we would definitely stay again!!

Quaint House in Bristol

This house was very convenient to restaurants, shops and the water. Comfortable, quaint and well decorated. It’s true that the parking situation is a challenge- we had 2 cars and with a lot of maneuvering, we’re finally able to get them both in the driveway. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay and would come back in the future!

Wonderful family vacation!!

Perfect place for graduation!

Our family stayed at this beautiful house when my son graduated from RWU. The house is charming, spotless, and beautifully appointed. We appreciated the “extras” - shampoo/conditioner, coffee, spices, condiments in kitchen, as well as extra sheets and blankets. A great find in the lovely town of Bristol!

Awesome home and location!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! It was gorgeous, perfectly located and comfortable! The only thing I would say is that the driveway does not fit 2 cars. But other than that we would definitely stay here again! Walking distance to restaurants and waterfront. Loved it!

Wonderful Home!

Warm and beautifully decorated home close to downtown Bristol and many wedding venues. Everything you need is in this home. The owner is responsive and helpful. The outdoor patio is a charming addition too! The whole family enjoyed the trip!

Bristol get away at its best!

The house was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for cooking meals. Lots games for family fun. We played croquet in the backyard and used the bikes to cycle on the bike trail. We were able to walked to the water , shops and admire Bristol historical homes .

Wonderful cottage in Bristol

House is very cute, clean and comfortable with a very nice kitchen with all the bells and whistles. Within walking distance of restaurants and shopping. We would stay there again!
