Whether you’re planning an extended stay or just a getaway, this contemporary three-bedroom desert home is blissfully tranquil, yet just 15 minutes from the airport and downtown Phoenix, and downtown Tempe.

Imagine waking up each morning to that awe-inspiring stillness only the desert southwest can provide. You rise to make coffee in your gourmet kitchen and step out onto the spacious back patio to sip your French roast next to the pool, as the rising sun paints the nearby mountains in shades of vibrant red and gold. It’s easy to feel at home when your days start like this.

Inside this newly built home nestled at the foot of Phoenix’s south mountains, you’ll find three ample bedrooms and two and a half baths, including a master suite with a king-sized bed, walk-in shower, double sinks, and a luxurious oval soaking tub with a view. Your kids/housemates can claim the other two bedrooms, located in the opposite wing of the house: Each comes furnished with a queen-sized bed and they share a jack and jill bath with dual sinks and a combination tub/shower--the best of both worlds!

Relaxation Under the Stars
After work and on weekends, the home is the perfect place to unwind or entertain: curl up by the fireplace for movie night on the large-screen TV, or head for the private patio with a mug of hot cocoa for stargazing (bring a blanket if you want).

With off-street parking for three cars, an outdoor gas grill and patio seating for 8, the place is pool-party-ready. Or treat your friends to a gourmet feast in the spacious indoor dining room: the fully-stocked kitchen with granite counters and stainless appliances makes it easy to channel your inner Barefoot Contessa.

We so love this place!
This is our second stay at Desert Rose. It is just perfect in every sense. Spotlessly clean, in a beautiful area of Phoenix where we felt completely safe & secure. We just love this property, it is immaculately maintained & stocked with everything you need. It backs onto a wash from the South Mountains so we saw all sorts of wildlife including quail with babies this time, they are so adorable & funny running around all over the place! The pool was lovely & clean & a perfect respite from the heat. Lastly, Sara is the perfect property manager & nothing is too much trouble. We can’t wait to return 😊

My family and I just got back from a week stay at this Amazing home! The views are spectacular and the pool was very relaxing. The home is spacious and lovely. Just Perfect
This is our fourth day at this lovely property. It is the standard by which we hauled all other VRBO rentals too. we love the base of south mountain location for hiking and mountain biking, also convenient to the rest of Phoenix. The home is immaculately maintained inside and out, and well stocked with everything o e needs for a fantastic vacation. The host are unobtrusive and very responsive if anything is needed. We love the pool and the view out the backyard, lots of quail and bunnies to be seen. Already planning our next trip back!

A wonderful place to rest
My wife and I had taken a month of as it had been a busy year for me. It could not have been a better place to stay and felt like home from the moment we arrived. The house is wonderfully set up in all ways and the back yard has both the views and the shade in the afternoon to let you enjoy them. Errol and his family were wonderful and even a couple of little hiccups were dealt with easily and without any hassle. It is very quiet which is what we wanted and you can just chill as much as you want but the amenities are all near. Would recommend it highly to anyone and would return without a thought.

We loved everything about the house. Plenty of room, an incredible master bedroom and bathroom, beautiful full kitchen, great pool, amazing host. We stayed there for over a week, and had zero complaints. While we don’t miss the Phoenix heat, we do miss this house. If we’re ever in the area, we’ll definitely be staying again.

This was our second stay at this lovely home. The owners are so welcoming, I love it that they check on you during the stay. My grandson loves the pool and the open space indoors to play with his VR. The home is filled with all that you need for your stay. The location is close to 2 expressways and a mall, what more could you ask for. Looking forward to next year’s visit.!!!

The home is beautiful and has everything you need for your stay. The views are just as described and even better in person. Restaurants, grocery stores & shopping are within a 5-15 minute drive. This house is at the foot of South Mountain, yet at night you can see the Phoenix city lights as well. Spacious, very well appointed and incredibly stocked with all kinds of condiments and other thoughtful products to make vacationing easy. The pool is awesome and there is lots of room for big groups for dinner or a pool party. Owner was a great communicator and very helpful before, during and after the stay. Neighborhood is gated and quiet. Grocery, gas and fast food are close, but the kitchen is huge so no need to go out. Thanks Errol!

Lovely spacious home located at the foot of South Mountain range. Plenty of room for our all adult family of 7. Exceptional kitchen setup! Quality prep and cooking amenities! Grocery stores located close by . Bedrooms were comfortable and private. Bathrooms were outfitted with all things necessary: multiple towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash. Also complimentary toothpaste and lotion! Pool and outdoor area were inviting and well maintained. Very quiet neighborhood, providing lots of peaceful relaxation without being stifling. Communication with owner/management was exceptional! Concerns were addressed immediately. My family and I highly recommend this property and look forward to staying here again/

Magnifique séjour à South Mountain
Propriété exceptionnelle, spatieuse, impeccable et bien entretenue. La vue est époustouflante et nous avons pu apercevoir des coyotes et des cailles de Californie. La maison est équipée au-delà de ce à quoi on s’attendait. Très bien située et dans un quartier très sécuritaire et communautaire.
