Space to Roam
This property was great to just go and relax. Lots of room to just roam around walk dogs explore fish etc. the only discrepancy I found was that the listing says it sleeps 15 but I really only found sleeping arrangements for 11. It didn’t affect our group as we only had 5 but for future people staying. Be aware of this, you can’t fit 4 more people on the couch in the living room so I don’t know where the other 4 people are supposed to sleep if you bring 15. But it was a very nice place overall.

Amazing, spacious and beautiful!
I had a great time with my family and friends, pets have plenty of room to roam. The rooms were nice and the beds comfortable and clean. The house was cozy and welcoming. Definitely worth coming back to visit for all the nice seasons! 10/10 would recommend for people who want to get out and have a great time with nice scenery.

The place is really nice and peaceful. It reminded me of my boyhood farm. The rate was very reasonable. The place was well-provided with amenities and was in a beautiful location; thank you. It was a lovely stay.

great out of the way place to relax!
Being our 6th time, we pretty much love staying here on occasion when we want to get away from DFW area. The acreage is gorgeous, spacious and the color of the leaves at this time was perfect for Fall! The house has been updated nicely Our dog loves the space to run "leash free" around the yard outside of the house. There are coyotes nearby at times so be careful with pets. Also deer do sometimes come in the morning! The covered porch is the perfect place to view them and just relax!

The property is very well kept. Plenty of room for our dogs and us to romp around in. The house was clean, accommodating and comfortable! Loved the serene and tranquil feel.

fabulous views
Acreage is .incredible and able to witness wildlife - fabulous. Fishing was great. Dogs were able to run free - super to watch. Very relaxing. Only critiscism was there were very little in supplies - no trash bags no soap no paper towels. Cooking pans have seen better days. Fridge freezer not making ice. However, having said all this we would stay there again!

Lake Murray
Perfect location in relation to Lake Murray State Park. Property is super well kept, and the house is exactly as described. With the vast grounds and the small lake/pond on property, you wouldn't ever even need to leave unless you were here specifically for Lake Murray. Zero complaints at all and very happy with our stay. Thank you for sharing your home with us

Loved the pond and outdoor scenery. The interior remodel was very nice. However, there were 2 bunk beds that were not made and 2 other sheets that were not cleaned.

We enjoyed our stay, we all loved the property and the fishing was Awesome!!! All 5 of our grandchildren had a blast running around and going to the marina to swim and feed the carp.. over all it was a fantastic experience, we would love to come back

Secluded getaway near everything you need.
The property/land is great, love the large acreage and the seclusion. The layout of the home is perfect. Love the large porch and beautiful view. Great place to get away yet still be close to town for any necessities or make a day trip to the lake.

Duke summer vacation
Great place for gathering our family, we were able to fish, play in the blow up pool and walk around the beautiful grounds of this property. The house was fabulous, bedding was comfortable and clean. Loved sitting out in the porch early mornings watching the sun come up and listening to natures sounds. We will definitely book again.

Family Lake Retreat
Great place for a family retreat minutes from lake Murray. We had all our grown kids and grandkids with us and had a terrific time. Large beautiful property with a small lake that we enjoyed fishing and putting our kayaks on. House was very nicely remodeled and everything worked well. Plenty of room for parking our pontoon and waverunner trailers.

Outstanding views
We go camping every year with my sister in law and this year i was in charge of picking the VRBO. We will be back most definitely. We didn't bring ATV but the trails were great. Next time we will bring a canoe. Very clean and updated. We didnt catch any fish but saw the snakes. Kids enjoyed the playground and was able to entertain themselves . Love love love this place.
