The apartment is definitely great and the host Leidy is very proactive. The neighborhood looks sketch but it's actually great too and safe. You have a convenient store nearby by foot but you'll have to take your car to go further for grocery and restaurants. I recommend it for sure :)

The host was fantastic. The apartment was pristine. 1 minor issue was resolved almost immediately. The neighborhood has some issues.....but it is Newark ...so there is that. The host keeps the entire property extremely clean as they were sweeping the sidewalk and the street in front of the property. Hope to return when I have more work in the area.

Clean and quiet
When you drive into the area, you're unsure what the apartment will look like, but it's a pleasant surprise! Very clean and the neighborhood was more quiet than I thought it would be. One thing that wasn't mentioned until the day we checked in was that the sewer system can't handle TP being flushed. But that was not a huge deal for us. Just a minor inconvenience. You throw away your own trash so that makes it less awkward to leave soiled TP behind. We drove to NYC and parked there for our activities since you have to pay for parking at the NJ train station too. We had a great time. Communication with the owner was great! Thanks for your hospitality!
