About this property

Bright Unit with Lots of Windows, Private Hot Tub

From the kitchen and living room, back deck and master bedroom areas the views are to the south over the Silver Queen Chair, Brewers Pond, Tube Town and the Creekside units. The views from the front are right up the slopes of the Alpine Meadows Chair and Attridge Face and Christmas Bowl runs.

This is an older generation home with more of a "cabin" design than an executive home. It is clean, modern, well stocked and enjoys one of the best locations on the mountain. Substantially renovated in 2004, 2011 and 2016, the home features quality cookware, keyless entry, private barbeque, in unit laundry and much more. It is very well equipped with internet and 3 -TVs and an Xbox. The location and private hot tub make it one of the most desirable vacation homes on the mountain. This home lacks nothing and has lots of extras not found in homes priced much higher.

The owners are very attentive and want to make your holiday experience pleasant enough that you will book this home again.
Security or Damage Deposit

A refundable security/damage deposit (equal to one night's rent) is required.

Okanagan, Kalamalka, and Swan lakes are all approximately 30-40 minutes away. Summer rental is usually monthly.

Snow Skiing and Boarding

Ski/Board Out is a 5 minute walk from the property
Location, Location, Location. Distance to the ski slopes from this home is measured in feet, not yards or meters. Access is truly an effortless ski-in and ski-out. The slope-side hot tub and front entry deck is approximately three feet from the ski slope. Ski in access is off Mid-T Lift, Christmas Bowl, Attridge Runs, and Back Bowl Runs. Ski out access is over bridge to Silver Queen Quad or approximately 80 meters the other direction to the Mid T. Adults can sit on the covered deck (or in the upper bedroom) and watch their children load and ski the entire Mid T. Great area for tobogganing and snow forts.

A rare gem
Our second stay in this rare gem situated at the base of Alpine Meadows chair and another fantastic ski trip. The ski in/ski out location is superb. The house is perfect for our family of 6 and is well maintained. The kitchen has everything needed to prepare large meals. The rear deck offers great views over Silver Queen chair and the hills beyond. The hosts were readily contactable and extremely helpful. Thanks for having us!

Ski into the Hot Tub, Ski out
We were so blessed to have found this on the mountain oasis, that could sleep all 9 in our party! It was so nice to be able to meet back for lunches on the mountain, saving time and money, and have options on directions from the chalet for more adventuring...The place has everything we needed and all we supplied was the good attitude and we had an amazing time, although it was a little hard to share the reclining chair...

Great Location
Cozy ski-in/ski-out. Kids enjoyed the upper floor of large bedrooms with lots of beds. Easy to get to all main areas of Silver Star - village, tube town, etc.

Good times coziness
We’ve stayed at many places at silver star and for the value, this place is hard to beat. It’s not new and not high end, but it is cozy and the location is good. Short walk to village, we didn’t have to use shuttle bus are whole stay. It does have a set of stairs that challenge your fitness level

this property has an excellent if all occupants are good skiers--
Not ideal for new skiers and non skiing Grand Parents. Lots of stairs to climb and overcome in big snow falls. If everyone in the party can ski intermediate runs,the location is ideal. Young children and older folks present problems in getting around(eg to the village ,the lake area and ski school).

Nice Family Chalet
Really nice place, not fancy but clean and well cared for. Everything worked in the chalet and didn't hear the downstairs tenants at all. Logistics all worked well and owner was easy to work with. Great location, we loved skiing home for lunch. Great family place to stay.

Perfect location!
This place is perfectly located with quick access to the christmas bowl or an easy ski to other chairs that get you anywhere on the mountain. It is also a quick walk to the village. It is well equipped with everything you need and the hot tub is heavenly at the end of the day. Lots of room for 6 and the hosts are wonderful to deal with- very friendly and easy to get a hold of. I would love to rent this place again!

Great Location,Cute Cabin.... but dirty
Maybe the best location at Silverstar. Wonderful hot tub, perfect ski in and ski out. The cabin is small, but it has more than enough room, and wonderful view. The only drawback is the level of cleanliness. Used soap in the shower, oven smoked and was unusable due to baked on food inside of it, drawers will full of old crumbs and food, on and on and on. Clean it up and its a winner!

Great Location
The runs are literally steps from the porch. We enjoyed skiing right to our door as well as soaking in the hot tub and watching all the skiers come down the runs! The place has everything you need and quite reasonable to boot! Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect location!
This place came as advertised. Exceptional value. Right at the base of Alpine Meadows chair, location couldn't be better. Reasonably clean. Layout suited our needs nicely. Hottub was a great plus post skiing the powder. Got a good workout carrying up groceries/luggage up the stairs. Would stay there again.

Excellent ski in ski out
Simple cabin but had everything we needed. Perfectly set up for down hill skiing just steps from the slope. Large boot room with tons of hooks to dry things out.
